Hey, you can never have enough O-Line. Wait till the 7th and 8th round and snag the o-linemen.

Chris Patrick is skipping his senior season and has entered the supplemental draft for personal reasons. He was not thrown off the team nor had he lost academic eligibility.

Oliver and Gaither are academically ineligible – in case anybody is interested.

And Andrew, I don't think it's quite that easy. Some other team may be willing to go higher. As Omar said, we picked Wright (Manny) in the 5th.

Seems to me that it would have been prudent to list all the players entered in this supplemental draft if they're known, in this article??

.... I remember Michigan booted 3 players off over the winter, 2 were starters. Perhaps they're already transferred to another school and didn't apply for the draft. I remember 1 of the guys was a starting TE (Carson Butler) and a redshirt freshman that they thought could be real good down the road. The reasoning for their dismissals as I recall was some altercation at a fraternity house party or something.

Don't touch these guys. We had our bad experience with Nick's Manuel Wright. Sure we would love to have an offensive lineman. But at what price for a project?

Well, just like the regular draft, a whole lot of the supplemental picks are busts. But given how few supplemental picks there are, the rate of success is probably about the same.

Here are some more recent ones who became solid pros:

Cris Carter in '87. Steve Walsh in '89. Bobby Humphrey in '89. Rob Moore in '90. Darren Mickell and Dave Brown in '92. Tito Wooten in '94. Jamal Williams and Mike Wahle in '98. Ahmad Brooks last year.

Do the Dolphs have a water boy?
I think Cam should spend a 2nd rounder and get a quality water boy.

Of the 34 prospects taken in the supplemental draft between 1977 and 2005, nine never played a snap in the regular season and 16 never started.

Only five have carved out careers of 100 or more games.

LET'S SEE:
5 PLAYED OVER 100 GAMES
18 WERE STARTERS
9 NEVER PLAYED A SNAP THUS 25 PLAYED.

THIS IS WHY NEWSPAPER WRITERS ARE SILLY AND ONLY KNOW ABOUT WRITING.

52% WERE STARTERS
17% PLAYED 100 GAMES OR MORE
26% WERE FLOPS AND NEVER PLAYED

BASED ON THE ARTICLE, YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE SUPPLEMETAL DRAFT IS A WASTE.

I KNOW OF TWO SUPPLEMENTAL PLAYERS WHO WERE GREAT.

I suppose what I should have ended with is "...if they are still available."

fact remains that yet another year will pass and we have not done much to improve the o-line. look at the pats. they were hurting at WR, so they picked up every available WR from here to pango pango. maybe one day we will follow their example.

There's seems to be a rumor running around that the Dolphins signed undrafted free agent, DT Brian Soi out of Utah State. This guy took part in yesterday's supplemental draft, any truth to this?

I'll bet the lid was left open on a dumpster and Big Wayne heard the Cam Moron yelling from deep inside .. So much to the demise of the Dolphins .... He hired him

The only reason you are even attempting to say anything intelligent, which your not;is that you want to keep referring to Coach Cameron as Cam Moron,we get your point Idiot! So you don't like the man we understand that,as you have stated in so many of your useless tirades.Try commenting on something else that is more football related.
