Come on Smith, get your grades right. We need your power running skills. Martin is a good looking prospect but Smith and Hyde are better power runners so a transfer is inevitable for him.

OSU football caught cheating again....so what else is new?

And as for those ineligible RB's, how much you want to bet they will somehow magically become eligible before the season starts? Remember, its win at any cost around here, even if you have to cheat to do it.

Ohio State is scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit too much lately. If these "scholars" can't even get through dumbed down high school, how are they going to make it in college?

Sad to think how many more academically qualified lower middle class students don't qualify for scholarships becuase their dad has a job and pays the bills but can't afford to send their kids to OSU.

Proof of cheating please.

A year of sitting on the sidelines may be a blessing in disguise for Smith. He is a talented runner, but Saine, Herron, Berry, and even Hyde will be ready and able to handle the workload. Add Pryor's 10-12 carries a game into the mix and there isn't much more to go around. Give Smith a redshirt year, let him get acclimated to college life and then toss him into the competition next Spring.

I've had enough with Seantrel "Derik Morris" Henderson already. Let's just move on and don't even mention his recruitment any longer. O-H...

Maybe you weren't aware of the guys that sat out of the Rose Bowl last year. Your comment is way off base. As far as Martin is concerned, he should be trying to prove something by getting back on track. Smith might be better off taking the season off as another poster said as we have a lot of guys returning.

your team must suck so you accuse osu of cheating. How are they cheating anyway? Cite some facts.

Okay, so it's okay for every othercollege in the country to have their former players talk to recruits but not OSU? Didn't Henderson himself talk about hanging out with the former "Cryami" OT McKinney? The NCAA rule book needs a complete re-tooling!!!

Why is Rod Smith sabotaging his own career? Take a couple of hours and read your book and write some papers, or whatever needs to be done, and become a OSU legend. Whats wrong with these young lads?

Funny, but he wouldn't be in the Short North, he would be in Gerbil Village.

So a guy makes a completely speculative comment that has no merit and you actually think it's true? I guess they do make them dumber in Cali.

No it is more like everyone is speculative, even the NCAA in trying to connect dots and put us on probation. They still really have nothing concrete that our program actually did anything wrong

Ummmmm...they don't hand out a postseason ban, restrict recruiting, and order a program to vacate wins if they have nothing concrete that the program did something wrong. Nice try, but USC basically plead guilty buddy. Keep wishing that Reggie wasn't a paid athlete at the age of 18 and maybe your NC and Heisman will become legitimate in your mind.

Ever heard of the NCAAs Secret Parity Committee? Probably not because its secret. They are a committee that keeps an eye on conferences where when one team dominates too much their goal is to help lay down parity so the ratings return when the conference becomes more competitive. You will see this more if you guys keep owning the Big Ten. In fact one of the first steps was seeing if Nebraska can do anything to even your conference out. Expect OSU and Penn St to start getting harassed

So you are saying it's all a conspiracy against USC? I don't think so.

We are the first because we are the most storied and have been so dominating. You will start to see other top conference teams take the hit as the weaker teams continue to complain and balk at paying the conference dues/fees
