micheal huff
in 06, 78 tackles.
in 08, 85 tackles, 1 forced fum, 1 int.
in 09, 59 tackles, 5 sacks, 3 int's.
in 10, 94 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 forced fum, 3 int's
if RAIDERS don't retain him and if saints pick him up, they will get a well improved player and ready to shine for whatever team he goes to. i hope we keep him but because of the two (cb's) that we picked up in the draft and the amount of (cb's)(s) and (ss) and the amount of years he's been here plus age? it's a possibility huff may be traded. personally? i hope not. he may just be in his prime!

It took him a long time to blossom. I have no problem with him staying as long as he plays well. However, I'd rather try to keep Asomugha and/or Gallery first. Aso goes without saying, but Gallery was the heart and sole of our OL and I think losing him will set us back. Sometimes I think keeping Gallery is a higher priority than Aso because without Aso, we might have a more balanced corner tandem and whoever is opposite of him often gets thrown at a lot and worn down faster. Without Gallery, our OL will be very young and his veteran presence will be vital to the whole unit's performance.

I AGREE! maybe gallery will change his mind and he gets a happy contract here. you know how sometimes players get emotional because of their coach being released or for whatever problem sometimes they get a little poutty =( but i sure hope he gets over it. sometimes these things take time to heal and i hope enough time has passed by. i liked gallery but if the player doesn't want to be here? than, he doesn't want to be here!(lol) what else can you say? follow your x coach?

Gallery is solid of course and has been a mauler in the run game the last few years.

ASO is our number one priority followed by Michael Bush then Huff in my opinion.

Due to Gallery's age i think he should be the last guy signed of the 4.

If Zach Miller and Michael Bush end up UFAs in the new CBA, then they'll become #1 priorities. I agree with what Tex said about Gallery being that the OL needs his leadership and experience; otherwise they are all first and second year players. I heard Daniel Loper (the backup guard from last year who filled in for Gallery and Carlisle) may be starting for us since Carlisle is pretty much gone. Huff I don't care about that much. I think Aso is too good to have a balanced secondary. It's crazy to let the "best player on the team" go but Sometimes teams improve when they lose the "best player on the team."

hey, don't be surprised if one of those two,(gallery or asomugha) comes back to the team. there was a report that h jackson was trying to get some of his free agents back. those were hue's words. so i wonder if he was talking gallery and or asomugha? both of these guys would pretty much complete the team!

I agree, but the key RFAs becoming UFAs in a new CBA is the bigger concern.

He said something along those lines after the draft. The NFL is just more business than football now. Players can't really commit to one team. Paul Taglibue was about football and what the fans want to see. Rodger Badell (as opposed to Goodell)is about protecting the high dollar investment players from the hard hitting defenders trying to make names for themselves. C'mon this is tackle football. Which one of you was is that said "If they're not gonna allow dirty hard hits like the fans want to see, then why don't they just make the NFL flag football?"

Aso is older than Gallery so That kind of makes me wonder what kind of interest there is from other teams.
