I hope Madieu can go, but I don't think Garcia scares a soul, so we should be fine with T. Johnson filling in. I'm going to the game, so I hope Klink and his 4-foot shadow Bevell figure out a way to move the ball against a good TB defense. How about throwing the ball on first down once in awhile?! Rice and Berrian should be ready to explode! Go Vikes, 27-20.

Exactly right JD! The Offense is too damn predictable! Throw a 4 WR set every once in a while. Give the Defense something to think about. Have Sidney Rice throw a pass on an end around(kid has a great arm) do something other then run, run, pass short.

Also, Madieu means fragile in Swahili .

madieu seemed to have sured up cedrics side in the past two games but tyrell was doing pretty well the last couple of games as well. i am getting to the point that i think tyrell should take over for sharper and go with he and madieu when healthy. antoine has been amazing on that side this season but sharper hasn't shown up much at all besides an occasional assisted tackle.
throwing on first or second down is a great idea. it seems klink does it the first couple of drives sometimes, then just forgets after that and goes back to good old run, run, pass, out.

We need a lot more creativity. More counters. AD and CT in the backfield together. Handoff to AF go one way and come back - pitch back - long bombs 4 times a game = 2-3 TD's. So much talent, so many possibilities, so little brains. If no NFC Championship appearance Chilli must go.

Thank god we didn't let Madieu"Mr. Glass" williams go to another team. How about a flea flicker on first down?? Every team jams us on first down and then we run it.

Its just his shoulder, Childress can still use him on the "take a knee" play.

Now we know why the Bengals let this loser (Madieu) take a hike in Free Agency.
This guy could hurt himself sitting on the toilet in the morning while taking a dump.

Looks good when he DOES play. Why doesn't he borrow a page from the Jared Allen book of suckin' it up, & taking the pain? He's starting to sound like a p*$$ie. That damn Turdvirus Jackson was ALWAYS "in pain" about something too.- WINTER PARK GENERAL HOSPITAL.(They take walk-ins too)

Yes Arch, I think he brought this defense to another level, but now back to Johnson. Tyrell is only getting better he's just short on experience. What's with the Williams wall? Was the diuretic found in their #1 or what? At least they got to enjoy the packer shellacking.
Maybe the rumor was started by Terrible Ted Thompson(tampering, flirting, talking, looking sideways, diuretic...etc....)

You're right, Archangel. Madieu is a "girly man". This chump is getting paid all this money for nothing. What a waste of space! He can't play an entire game because he needs his diaper changed every 15 minutes...Go Vikes!!!

This guy has got the talent, but he seems like some kind of a "pretzel." Maybe it's time for the Vikes to re-evaluate his status. Right now he's as big of an asset to the Vikes as Pat Neshek is to the Twins.

I agree that Adrian did get away with one. Would it have changed the outcome of the game? Probably, but it would not be a given. That is why they play the game. Should the packers feel that they got ripped off? I don't think so because it would have been a celebratory penalty and not a game penalty. You still have to earn your win. There is no way of knowing if the same (penalty)yardage would have geen gained and put the packers 15 yards closer. AP wasn't rubbing anybodies nose in it. Whine all you want, it won't matter. Its time to move on.

I can't understand how the Vikings, for the money spent on players of high calibre, get so little return on their investment. I think Bud Grant had the right idea when it came to drafting players. To paraphrase what he said, " give me durable players that I can count on to be there every game. No matter how good a player is, if he is injured most of the time, that person is really of no value to the team."

Williams is a good safety but the safety that makes me think is sharper. Now the guy is great but were are his playes? We need INT's. I am very impressed with Sapp. He has done great against WR's with the Vikes. Sapp can take the Nickel spot and hold his own there. But logically speaking, why didnt the vikings claim Miller from the JEts? That CB is 24 and a great kick returner. BTW who thinks next offseason we take a look at Matt Castle or Byron Leftwhich? wat you think
