2011 Draft - Next years draft will be a complete failure if they draft anyone but offensive lineman and safeties. I don't think the O-line understands they're supposed to open holes for OUR team.

leave it to the good old vikings to always let you down! It must be the weather up there, will they ever get a superbowl win? not in my lifetime I guess.

There's only one cure for this team. Send them to LA.

Dear Santa

Since I have been mostly good here are some gifts I would like to see. To Wilf please give him a clue. Just because a guy tells you he is an offensive genius, look for more proof than standing on a sideline holding a clipboard while the real coach calls the plays. I get that you didn't want another Love Boat but what you got was the NFL version of Hogan's Heroes with Childress as Klink. We do not need to continue leading the league in no gain or loss of yards if we really want to win.

Can you bring us a real head coach? I know we have no quarterback, not really good pass protection, and a secondary that waves as the receiver goes by, but maybe they will consider it their version of charity work. Do not give us more of the same, and do not allow Frazier to be handed what is not a really good team especially on defense. Who was it that thought we had guys that could cover?

Can you give Jackson the wisdom to have invested his paychecks wisely since I don't think his best pay days are ahead of him. There was a reason he was not the starting quarterback at Alabama and we have seen enough.

Can you let people know that just because you draft a talented player, it does take some coaching to have them develop in the NFL? We have had some good drafts but some of the player development is not where it should be. I know that the game planning and in game adjustments were not very good, but still there could be some better coaching and skill development.

Well Santa here is hoping that you get this in time to get the people who are supposed to be football savy in the Vikings organization to get the biggest gift of all----A CLUE

Fans should not be discouraged. I'll be back next year about 10 days before the season starts and armed with a new contract from Mr. Wilf.
The Vikes will be on the march to the Super Bowl with me at the helm.
Start making plans. I'm not ready for a bawling press conference with a box of Kleenex in front of me.

I sure hope LA is always sunny and they never have to play again in a colder climate. Their schedule should be Kansas City, St Louis, Tennessee, Detroit, Chicago, Arizona, Miami, Jacksonville, Miami, Arizona, Jacksonville, San Diego, Miami, San Diego, Miami, San Diego, Miami, San Diego. That might work for these Wussies!

First of all, there is no way anyone can possibly accurately evaluate either Frazier as a head coach or Webb as a QB over one game. A head Coach needs his own assistants and Webb is in his first year, first real game as a QB.
Next:
Starting right at the top thou, the Vikings need a complete overhaul. A new GM, new Head Coach, a revamp of the offensive line, either develop Webb as your future or play 'rent-a-quarterback' again like what the recent history of the Vikings are at that position.
It's amazing how one team can go to within one play of reaching the Super Bowl and the following year falling into the cellar of a weak division.

Sadly Viking fans, right now it looks like it's gonna be a few years before this team rights the ship.
I hope Klink's stockings are filled with coal on Xmas morning. He filled Viking fans with coal this whole season.

From an outsider, your offensive line has more holes than Clyde Barrow. Defense plays half the time, Webb could be good, can't go by one or two games. Love the play calling, Gerhardt up the middle twice, then pass, then kick. This team has a lot of problems.

Obviously Frazier is not the answer. The whole coaching staff needs to go after this year. I think as of today the Vikings are by far the worst team in the NFL.

After watching the Vikings for over 30 years, I cannot remember watching a more dissappointing, gutless, heartless, overpaid, and over-hyped bunch of pretenders as this years bunch...and there are some to choose from. Don't give me the injury excuse, every team has injuries.

"Cutler dissescted the Vikings defense"...what defense are you talking about as I didn't see it in the game last night. What did I miss here? Frazier is the defensive genius, supposedly, so why didn't he let his defense play last night. No wonder the wound up a bridesmaid and not a bride in his seven interviews for head coaching positions.

PS: You know what this team is capable of because we watched pretty much the same team last year. Of course the schedule was softer...

With Load-Holt, Load-McKinnie, Load-Sullivan. Favre's lucky to be alive.

Even with a healthy O line, Favre would be insane to risk his life behind them for another season. Nice blocking.

There are four guys who actually played well this year.
AP--ran hard with poor blocking and seems to have fixed his fumbling issues.
Percy--Continues to play through migraines, but obviously they are an ongoing concern for a super-talented player.
EJ Henderson--Came back from a huge injury, great against the run, but could use some work in his pass coverage/drops.
Chad Greenway--Still young, but seems to get better week to week/year to year.

Aside from Gerhart having a decent rookie year, that's really about all I see for positives.
Poor line play on both sides of the ball, an unkown QB situation for next year, and a secondary that could use a complete overhaul. Lets hope the Vikings have a miracle draft!

I agree with most of the above. The first issue is the oline and the secondary. No quarterback can win with this team when the other quarterback has three times more time than youre team does. This oline shortened Favres career by two years at least. They also need to look into offseason conditioning cause this team is not in shape.Their getting manhandled in every category. We've kept too many players for too many years that arent producing and are riding on the backs of the ones that are.

Hey you guys said it.....either you can read a defense or you can't. Webb barely looked at the cover. He would take a glimpse at his first read and then put his head down and straight ahead. The Vikings need to just start unloading the veterans for as many draft picks as they can get. Their is still enough talent to remain average or above as they go through a minor rebuild. They should keep Ramsey as their QB3 and move Webb back to WR. Get rid of all the WRs except Rice, Harvin, and Camarillo. Keep Booker. IDK but, Gerhart doesn't really impress me. Not as a 2nd rd pick anyways. I think they should find the player with the highest trade value; excluding Rice, Harvin, Peterson; and get what they can. This Offensive Line needs blown up. With exception to Loadholt, we need help everywhere up front. Loadholt is improving and will be fine in years to come (only yr 2).

Sounds like McNabb will available. Maybe we can get him for a 3rd round draft choice.
Oops, I forgot. Brainless Klink gave that one away.
Talk about a sucker being born every minute. Boy did Bellicik pull one on Klink. Gets rid of Moss, picks up a good 3rd rd. pick and all the time he was planning on getting Branch. And what did the Vikings get, nothing. And that jerk Klink laughs all the way to the bank with his contract buyout.
