For a dome team, the Vikings look slower than 300 yr old tortoises. I guarantee Shiancoe will fumble if a bird feather hits him.

If the Vikings D does not improve during the regular season compared to last year, then its on the coordinator and coaches. They have the pieces. A rifle won't shoot unless the pieces are put together correctly.

Frasier was fired from the Bengals staff. The dominant powerhouse Bengals coordinator.

Isn't getting fired by the Bengals a promotion?

Prior to his tenure with Indianapolis, Frazier served as defensive coordinator with Cincinnati in 2003 and 04 where he helped the Bengals go .500 in consecutive seasons for the 1st time in 12 seasons.

somebody just needs to break Henderson's nose and kick K. Williams in the nuts before the season opener. This defense is very very good when they play angry, but they looked bored on Fri.

Except Allen of course, white boy loves to play hard.

What teams are doing over and over against us is getting into their spead offense and we cant stop them. Look for teams to keep picking our defense apart with the spread offense. Not every team is going to have the personnel to do this but we will see more of it this year. We need jared and ray to apply constant pressure, our linebackers and db's are too slow.

it was preseason my friends. they will have their s@#t together come reg. season. i do think we need our secondary to step up this season because we cannot rely on our run defense to solely be dominant. our offense is going to be impressive yall just wait and see. Go Vikes

Seriously? Come on you guys... We didn't play Madieu Williams, Ray Edwards, Pat Williams, and only played 2 or 3 other starters for 1 or 2 series... Vikings didn't even run anything for blitz packages... You have to realize they aren't going to bring more than 50% till it starts to matter...

I wouldn't down talk the play, instead I would look at what they showed... T. Jack was playing unconsciously out there throwing some serious rope like passes... We didn't run the ball AT ALL in the 1st quarter, and A.P. didn't even touch the ball... Our special teams were unbelievable...

I would say that everything we needed to see, we saw... Watch as we progress to the regular season... Super Bowl here we come..

Why......why are fans like this???? Two weeks ago you couldn't elicit more than 5% negative responses about the direction of this team or their prospects this season. Then the Vikes play a preseason game so irrelevant two months from now and out come the critics.
Pick a side of the fence people; either you think this team is legitimate or not; fight the urge to alter your stand every other day.

I think they should start gordon over griffin for the starting spot, I know that wont happen but I would consider a change. Insert griffin to play the nickel, gordon is a better jammer. Griffin is physical but doesn't have leverage and positions himself poorly gives up a lot of big plays.
