I think we are going Jake Long(preferred) or Chris Long in the draft. I would like to see them get Sedric Ellis. A lot of people are saying he is too small and not as good as Dorsey. Hogwash. The guy dominated in practice at the North South and had a great game. They said Warren Sapp was undersized when he came into the league. What is there not to like about him? I also think Gholston is in the mix too, because I think he is better than Chris Long.

Now, If we sign a FA QB, forget about Matt Ryan, but if Flacco or Henne is available, we get one of those guys. Not a lot of huge caliber FAs out there, but I don't know why they are not going after that safety from Cinncinati, he had over 100 tackles, can stuff the run and is a good cover guy. They need a safety, unless they are sold on Jason Allen who Chad Johnson scorched. He had a good year though, but he needs to be more consistent. What about our CBs? Nobody has said anything about them. I wonder if we will draft one in the 2nd, if we draft Long/QB.

No offense Joe, but Chad Johnson scorched a lot of defenders last year and a few before that too. I'm also intrigued by that safety in Cleveland. I'd love to see Wilson from the Giants though. Move Daniels to safety, and pick up another corner (not Samuels) in FA and draft someone for depth. Man I feel like I'm playing Madden! I'm jealous of the guys that get to make the decisions but can't even imagine the stress they're under especially knowing EVERY decision they make is being dissected. I've already seen posts complaining about Smiley being injury prone and costing too much and Circus (I know the spelling is wrong but don't feel the need to look it up since he probably won't be on the opening day roster) is a "thug" and all that. My coffee tastes extra nice today!

So far, 12 hours into free agency, the Dolphins look to make the same useless moves as always, signing a little known receiver who is facing legal charges off the field, and an unknown lineman from SF. No difference makers, as usual, too cheap to go after those...

i know we want to win now....however we cant spend the total salary cap on veterans that might not perform....we must take lower draft choices and make something of them

It seems like when the Fins are bad, either free agency is thin or the draft. Damn!

Being a big fan doesn't mean you have to wear rose tinted glasses when looking at the FA signings. Being a fan is great but reality is a nice town also.
