Even if 9-7 is enough to win the NFC North this year, I can't see this team going 7-2 the rest of the way out. Then again, Brett knows more about football (and talking out his a$$) than I ever will, so maybe that easy turn around he's hoping for starts this Sunday.

At this point we need to start thinking about getting that 1st pick...tanking the rest of the way seems to be best for the long term survival of this team.

I bleed purple, So I hate to say this. The Vikings should stop the season now. Look at the rest of the year as a time for extra rebuilding, try not to win another game and get good draft picks. See if we can set up trades for Draft picks... If Chilly really wants to help this team as he says, then he would just quit now and let Frazier take over. Give the owners their money back since all he has done so far is waist it. Apologize to the team, the owners and the Fans for being a terrible coach. The reason the Vikings went so far last year had nothing to do with Chilly and his bad play calling. This year the train went off the tracks and Chilly put it their. The Randy Moss situation is a Joke and a slap in the Face to anyone who wants the Vikings to win.

I feel that ziggy does not care and soon to be be the Lv Vikings is all that matters and also our most glory seeker news media are going to be lost for words when all we talk about is our our losers for sports good luck

You need a realist? You want a realist? I'll be the realist: you can't coach, Mr. Childress and both the fan base and the team has turned against you. That real enough?

According to "Chilly” there is no need to panic! When asked how he will replace Moss he responded,
"We've got Hank Baskett," Childress said, referring to a player with six catches with three teams over the past three seasons. "We'll elevate his turns and get him in the mix."

Anything short of 9-7 and Klink is outta here. Randy may have helped us more than he knows. I would give up a 3rd round pick to get rid of klin in a heartbeat. Let's hope The wilfster doesn't waste the pick.

HEY CHILDRESS, EVERY TIME YOU HAVE 3RD AND SHORT OR 4TH AND SHORT, DO YOU HAVE TO SEND PETERSON OFF RIGHT TACKLE? EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD KNOWS THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE PLANNED AND EVEN ADRIAN CAN'T RUN THROUGH 11 PLAYERS! SHOW SOME IMMAGINATION OR LOOK FOR A NEW JOB.

And to think that if Sidney Rice and his agent had taken care of business with his injury during the off season this mess may not have ever happened.

"We don't need philosophers right now."......????

Isn't that what Chilly majored in?

I listened to Mike Florio debate with Paul Allen earlier this week, and I think he nailed Childress's problem. Chilly already thinks he's a great coach. He think's he's as shrewd as Bill Belichick, and never stops to think about the fact that he hasn't won a Super Bowl yet. His ego won't let him accept the fact that he's been wrong about his approach to things. Now, to top it off, Belichick has just made Childress look like a complete idiot by taking a third round pick in exchange for a huge mess.

I know this much: If I'm a player on this team, and I don't respect Childress, and I know he'll get fired if we lose this week, I have to seriously considering tanking the game to get rid of him.

Not that I want to see that happen, but Wilf should have already given this idiot his walking papers after this last fiasco. Winning a home game against the Cardinals should not be a basis for keeping a coach who needs to be fired. We will never win (or get to) a Super Bowl with Childress coaching this team. When is Mr. Wilf going to wake up and realize this?

I hope the fans boo the hell out of Childress on Sunday, and I hope the chant "Fire Childress" goes on all game long, win or lose.

Tice was fired for disgracing this proud franchise. He scalped some tickets and was at the helm, so to speak, during the infamous "Love Boat" scandal and for that reason the Wilf's brought in Klink to right the ship. Well, now the team more closely resembles the Jerry Springer show as opposed to the Love Boat. How the hell is this an improvement? The man is an embarassment! Fire his ass!

Viking fans can blame anyone they want, but the reality is, bringing in Favre was the being of the end. The Vikings are doomed for years to come!

Think what you will about Favre, but it's clear HE is the leader of this team, not the coach. He's saying exactly the right things to keep the team from checking out for the rest of the season. Childress has reached Denny Green-like levels of hubris, i.e. I don't owe anyone an explanation for my actions because I know best.

LIGHTS OUT! Play lights out Football for the rest of the season on every play! It's as simple as that. Do you want it? Do you really? If you don't, sit down and let someone else play!

I must admit I hope the Cardinals beat the hell out of Chilly and his demoralized team. Whatever it takes to get Ziggy the fool to lower the boom on the worst Vking coach in history not named Les. with Chilly gone we can finally rid ourselves of someone that doesn't have the skills or ability to bring us to the Super Bowl. I think Frazier is only a slight improvement based on his pathetic defense this year. Name him the interium coach and go after Cowher, Dungy. or even Parcells to bring this Franchise back. This year is a disaster in all ways except for the exit of Chilly. Too bad the Wilf's bought this team. By hiring Chilly he blew his staduim.

The play's the thing wherein we'll catch the conscience of the Klink. If we come out with our usual poor play calling, then the team will know why the fans are booing Childress. In spite of all the trouble we have brought on ourselves, I hope for a good outcome against the redbirds. Skol Vikings.

I couldn't agree more! I know if if I were a Viking player, I would do everything I could to LOSE the Arizona game if it would get Childress fired. Dumping that stupid, stubborn, and deluded egotist is the the number one way to improve this team.
