What the heck to the media expect them to say... they "fear" the Giants pass rush? What kind of reporting is this? "And this just in... we have just confirmed via a second source that the Bucs' offensive line doesn't fear the Giants pass rush... full story at 11." You could have written this piece from your living room without talking to anyone. Where's the story in this? Do the Bucs coaches believe their o-line can keep Garcia upright today, and if not, what schemes will they probably use in order to slow them down? Can we expect to see a lot of hot reads with quick releases over the middle today? We know Antonio Pierce has had problems in the past dealing with that kind of scheme. They'll want to go to Galloway deep when (not if) he gets behind the secondary coverage... but will Garcia have the time for that play to develop if the Giants bring the pressure and keep him contained in the pocket? I don't think the Giants' D-line will be bringing it like a jail break with Garica, since he's most dangerous when he breaks containment and buys time for his receivers to get open. That might make it appear on some plays that the Bucs o-line is holding their own against "one of the fiercest pass rushes in the NFL." Make Garcia beat us from within a collapsing pocket and front 7 that refuses to let him break containment. No scrambling to keep drives alive with his legs. Pierce has to hawk him all day and make him throw from within the pocket that doesn't open up viewing lanes down field.
