This article proves once again why I hate the bleacher report. This is a garbage article. How can this guy state we are poised for the playoffs???? We lost the best Corner in the league and our best target on offense....The only thing we have a right to do is be hopeful until we have proven we are poised for anything. I hope we can make a run at the playoffs, but with a new head coach and roster changes....how can ANYONE make a statement like we are "poised for the playoffs"???? Tom Foolery...that's it!!

Gotta' agree and add, we still need an NFL caliber QB ( no Martha, Campbell ain't gonna' do it)and Mc injury has already started his season long limp.

Injuries abound thanks to a head coach who doesn't get it. Do you think Patriots coach ran his players 110% with pads out of the gate? I highly doubt it. Regardless of the players indiviual off season regimne, they needed to build into it. I know they are professionals, but the injuries are a good deal in part due to Jackson moron approach of "we will just keep reloading" while beating them down. sickens mean. I wish Cable was still our coach, he had us heading in the right direction.

injuries are going too happen no matter what! right now the panthers have nine players with injuries. texans have 8, RAIDERS have 8, rams 7, skins7, packers the (sb champs) have 7 and everyone else, has anywhere from 3-6 players injured at this moment. i blame it more on the way the season started due to the lockout. players are coached and no coach wants their "starters" injured. if a player reaches out to tackle another player, he pulls his arm wrong. if a player reaches out for the ball, he lands wrong. it is what it is! hiram eugene, got injure in the game. it happens. the comment on hue jackson "we will just keep reloading" is just a way of saying he will prepare the next guy as a starter until the the starter gets better. most of these guys have minor injuries and about half of the guys that we have are listed as questionable vs frisco. if some don't start? is becaause they are still taking precaution and i agree with that. as of yesterday, there was at least 30something injuries, two to a to a team in some cases.i don't know, but i still like hue jackson and his aproach. injuries happen as a freak accident to players in my opinion! and as far as the season goes, trust me, i hope it does go well and better than last year. but we can't get mad at the season yet until the season is at least half way done!

It's not the loss of Nnamdi that I'm worried about, it's more the loss of Gallery. Right now the OL is the biggest question mark. Losing Nnamdi may have been a good thing now that we have a more balanced tandem in Routt and Johnson, therefore neither will have to worry about getting overtargeted. Veldheer seems to be the only sure starter and that's at LT. Gallery departed leaving LG open. Satelle and Wisniewski are battling it out for center and if Satelle wins, then Wisniewski is likely to start at one of the guard positions. If Wisniewski wins it, then Satelle is likely the backup C. Cooper Carlisle is surprisingly back competing for the RG spot despite his age, but is not a certain starter. Langston Walker was not brought back and RT has been the biggest weakness so far. The biggest puzzlement to me is that when we brought in Kahlif Barnes he was thought of as a high target at OT, but hasn't panned out well.

BTW RF, this team is not poised for playoffs until they prove it in the reagular season. It is foolish to say that they are this early. Sometimes I wish I had the confidence in our team like Raider Misterio does, but realistically, I have to see it in the regular season before I make such calls on being playoff poised. I thought we had a chance last year, but 2 simple things kept us from it...A missed chip shot FG against AZ as time expired, and inability to get into the endzone against SF. Indy and Jax were winnable too, but a few small mistakes cost us big in those games. Now we enter a new season with OL mess and a new HC and there are lots of changes that we must adapt too before we can say we are poised for playoffs

(lol) ain't i the foolish confident one!(lol) but it's cool. all i know is what i saw last year from hue and what i didn't see from cable. we cannot predict the future of course. it's only game one and we're cussing out the coach already. we should cuss the one out that didn't do anything!(lol) but thats my opinion. i know i was cussing him out while he was coach and wanted him him here at the same time cause players, and some fans liked him. but, that sure wasn't enough for me. i want change today! not tommorow. so they say cable was in the right direction and 'it takes time to build a team". i have a lot of "confidence" in hue jackson. mainly because i saw a big difference in the way this team played after he came in. but? I COULD BE WRONG YOU KNOW? i've been wrong before i hope you know?(LOL) but i like the challenge. i like what h jackson brings to this team and his "confidence". i truly hope i'm right about jackson and that we do better.(FOR OUR TEAM SAKES) i've never been more excited about this team since j gruden. really. i haven't! really i haven't.reallly! so there's a few injuries!

Walker wouldn't be TOO bad at RT......I'm still hoping Barksdale or Heyer can play it though.

I thought Carlisle did really well last year. I have no problem with him being at RG again.

I'm also not terribly worried about LG. Between Loper (who held his own last year), Heyer and Wis, Jr.(I hope he gets it), I'm feeling better.

I didn't get to see the 1st line last week. I will watch on Saturday.

Apparantly Wiz and Barksdale have been very solid. Having said that, the O-line is definitely still my biggest concern. Sounds as if we will finally have a competition at the receiver position, so DHB and Chaz know it's now or never. Campbell is in a contract year, so it's now or never with him as well. If they can be second in the league in rushing again, a new-found passing attack would give a very solid defense more time to catch their breath. I liked Cable too Faith, but when HueJack doubled their offensive production last year, it was just a matter of time.
