any idea who will replace john marshall?. lionel washington was once a candidate. he is a (db) coach right now. mike waufle the D-line coach is still there. greg beikert is a D assistant. i was thinking that m waufle would be the guy to replace marshall but it looks like we are gonna get someone from the outside.
congratulations to al saunders. being that he was considered runner up for the (HC) here a few times, i hope he can do a damn good job!
there was a time when RAIDERS used to hire RAIDER family for the most part. now? they come from all over the nfl and college!

i was just reading that former RAIDER/ now lb/coach assistant for the green bay packers, winston moss is a possible candidate as a (D-coach)and the RAIDERS could possibly be waiting for an interview till after the superbowl. the only thing here is that w moss would possibly be running a three four D. instead of the RAIDERS 4-3. and that could affect some of the players such as m shaugnessy and t kelly. i doubt the RAIDERS would switch to a 3-4 but unless they can get winston moss to run a little bit of both 3-4 and 4-3?

coach h jackson said his approach won't be drastically diiferent than the way former coach t cable nanaged the team. jackson then added, "but i'm different and i see things the way that i see them and i'm going to direct this organization the way i want it directed"!

Bresnahan was all right when he was with us. I like Winston Moss too. The main thing I didn't like about Bresnahan before was the fact that I didn't think Willie Shaw should've been fired just for being the best.

I don't know about Dennis Thurman, but I heard that the Jets denied us permision to interview him.

the freakin' guy is an assistant coach of the jets! why deny his future? dennis thurman has an oportunity to be a (D)coach! you'd think they (jets) would be proud to give him that chance? i mean, unless thurman does not want to leave the jets but? who would not take a chance at being a (D)coach?. it does not necessarily mean he will get the job but, give the freakin' guy the oportunity!
GO RAIDERS!!! F THE JETS! glad they lost now!

Jeff Fisher is on the market now and every NFL team has a head coach now except the Titans of course. I'd give him a 1 year deal as defensive coordinator (he'll have a NFL head coaching job in 2012) unless another team decides to fire their coach and bring Fisher in right away.

i felt i knew that was going to happen to fisher. another team like the bungles, i thought that was going to happen to. i like fisher but as a (D) coach in oak? i don't know? but why not?

Look for Quinton McWhiggers to be the strength and conditioning coach.
Longtime favorite of Al Davis.

Filling out the coaching staff? I bet if you call the California Psychics hotline (and all Raider fans do) they will tell you these guys are on the unemployment list come next January

Boy, Jeff Fisher would be the perfect fit for the Raiders, if Al could loosen the reins some.....

i think if fisher was to come back to coaching he would rather take a (HCing) job. he's been there 17yrs?, i bet he probably decides to take a break for at least a year or two.

I honestly think that is what he'll do. If the Titans would've let him go at the end of the season, then He would already have another head coaching job, but now all of the vacancies are filled except in Tennesee.

I just heard that the Raiders are interested in former Raider DB coach Darren Perry for defensive coordinatior. He is currently the DB coach in Green Bay.

i guess if the packers are doing good with darren perry than he must be doing something right! RAIDERS have not mentioned any interviews on the D side so they must be waiting for someone from the two superbowl teams.
i doubt it is anyone from the steelers!(lol)
