All we really need is improvement on the gridiron...OL and Run D have been the biggest issues, but improvement is the biggest neccessity I really think Trevor Scott has been our best defensive pick in recent years because when he moved to OLB last year he showed to be a disruptive force in the front 7 that we really need. Tyvon Branch has been a nice late round steal too. Offensively, I think it has been Zach Miller and Michael Bush. Chaz Schilens and Louis Murphy have shown positive signs too but lack of QB play has been a blow to the passing game.

first of all, the O-LINE has to be fixed! despite any of the (qb's) that we had, we could not score enough points through out the year. things looked better with gradkowski but still needs protection. i think a few of the guys here have mentioned the same thing more or less. i believe julius peppers is available, would you want him on your (D-line)? i still would not mind getting a (D) player from the draft.(O) comes first in my list!

I really don't know that Julius Peppers fits into our picture with Ellis and Seymour. Adding Seymour right before the season started kind of set back Trevor Scott and eventually moved him to LB which I think was the best move they made all season because that put our best players on the field. I'd say OT round 1 and LB round 2.

I agree that Oakland should go an OT/MLB in rounds 1 & 2, but I have a gut feeling that one of the first two picks will be a Corner Back.
Common sense would say draft the top available OT in round 1 and an MLB in round 2 based on positional value etc. I wouldnt be upset if they even flipped those picks around and went McClain round 1 and OT round 2.But dont be surprised if Davis drafts Hayden from Florida State if He's there in Round 1.
Al's been dreaming of getting a pair like Hayes & Haynes since they both retired.
Of course free agency might change this, if the Raiders sign a FA MLB or CB.

Did I say Florida State?? Ooops I meant Hayden from the Florida Gators .. but then Al's done crazier things, so He might even reach massively at pick 8 for one of the other CB's if they run a 4:2 forty .. lmao

You are right. Heden is most likely very high, if not at the top, of Al's list.

the past years we thought we would be getting an (ot) because we felt that is what was needed. al davis surprises the world of the nfl. that is why everyone is always so puzzled when it comes to oakland picking in the draft (LOL). but yeah you are so right, and that is what i have read earlier when draft pick conversations started. the first thing that was mentioned was (CB).
