It's pot.

It's been decriminalized in 13 states. It's used as a ligitimate form of medicinal relief by sufferers of all forms of cancer, Crohn's, AIDS, and countless other diseases. Most people who smoke pot do so in the privacy of their own home.

The govt is just pissed that they're not in on the profits.

No rational thinking person can argue with the fact that these laws need to be changed.

It's used as a ligitimate form of medicinal relief is 110% correct! My pet cat suffers from cancer, Crohn's, AIDS, and countless other diseases. I have to provide the medicinal herbage to care for my cat- The "Man" got it all wrong, its medicinal if it were a liquid- It be Jesus Juice

No sh!t. No body ever knocked off a gas station because they were tweeking on a mary-jane bender.

It's just pot. I don't know anyone who enjoys smoking it that doesn't smoke it.

well it is still illegal and studies have shown that alot of pot smokers will eventually move to a more potent drug habit such as coke or heroin.if you want to grow it and smoke it legally then move to a state that its legal in.otherwise you pay the price for breaking the law.for those too stoned to realize it, pot does have an effect on your brain and it is not a good one,it also has an effect on other body parts and functions too.those who take it for medicinal purposes also has a doctor who regulates how much you get.so no you wont see somebody strung out on it commiting a crime but it doesnt mean its healthy for you.

I see people out drinking alcohol and doing stupid, harmful and dangerous things everyday!

And CIGARETTES are somehow still legal... don't even get me started there.

Please cite your "studies". And btw, are those studies asking heroin users if they ever smoked pot? Or are they asking pot users if they've ever used heroin. There's a huge difference, isn't there? Just based on what I know, most pot smokers---MOST---never touch harder drugs.

And I'm not saying it's healthy. Never have. But neither is alcohol or tobacco. That's the point.

And if you possess less than an ounce, you'll never have more than a ticky-tack fine to deal with. Probably not even that.

You are a good American! When you take the hit to administer to your cat, which end do you blow it in?

Let me give you some insight to the legalize drug crowd and don't give me your bull shit that pot is harmlees.

Until you have seen teenages (27) shot dead in the street like I have for over twenty years and I'm not talking CSI bull shit or your suburban fanticy land crap.

Drug dealing is killing our kids at a rapidly increasing on an annual rate, that includes the sale of the nickle bag or sack.

So pot mellows you out, this includes slow reflexes, so reflexes and motor vehicles. The average drunk driver, drives an average of seventy time before their first DUI stop.

So lets include more impaired drivers, especialy young un-expierenced drivers, without driving skills.

More two thousand pound bullets on the road.Just hope your kid isn't in the vehicle with an impaired driver, or in a vehicle on the same road, or walking along the same road.

How about arresting the other four guy's selling the alderman shit for him out of that house? run Jimmy boy, we're gonna get you.

By the way INREM the house, property, and all the vehicles registered to the property and owner.

Couldn't agree more. In the privacy of your own home you should be able to do whatever you want, as long as you're not hurting anyone.

Uhhh, CT Post? You name a heading but put something else in it's description:

"Pot suspects arraigned after Oxford raid"
Jones 10 pass from Favre , 8:54. Second Quarter NYJ....WTF?

Back to the story, I agree with you Johnny. You can get alcohol poisoning and nicotine overdose from two items that are legal. I've never heard of overdosing or poisoning from weed.

And to the other commentor, 95% of the people I know who smoke, have great jobs, and take care of their business and family everyday. So they come home and smoke a joint or two. No heroin and cocaine. And everything you put in your mouth and all that's in the air can affect your health, including some legal items purchased at a grocery store, etc.

If someone is that interested in doing/trying those hard drugs, they will do so regardless. I have met a couple of heroin addicts who became addicted to smack due to smoking cigarettes.

Everyone's different.

I think what some people here are getting at is being able to grow it and smoke in your home with some privacy. Not driving around. If it were legal, do you think we'd still have killings over it? I don't see people dying over liquor and cigs.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Cancer

Hold it! You need to approach things in a calm, controlled manner today otherwise you're likely to get yourself into a state in no time at all. That's especially likely if you're trying to meet a deadline because you'll start to panic and then become all fingers and thumbs. You might also get extremely ratty with anyone who gets in your way or asks stupid questions. Come on, is that fair?
