Very good news that Porter won't be suspended, but you know that's the end of the line for his bad behavior.
Anything more than a parking ticket will land him a suspension,so he'd better leave that anger on the field!
GO FINS!!!

JUSTICE!!!!!

I say we switch to a pure 3-4 defense.

Roth, Traylor, and Taylor on the Line.
Porter, Zach Thomas, Channing Crowder, and Donnie Spragan as the linebackers. Spragan would have to switch from ROLB to LOLB. Crowder can move back inside (where he played in college) and can stick to a run stopping role, with Zach.

correction, Spragan would have to switch from LOLB to ROLB.

Vonnie Holliday and Paul Soliai can rotate at DL and DE.

Although Jenne's reputation has been tainted by the probe, his political clout is still such that many insiders hesitate to comment about his current problems or speculate about his possible successor although Soule is likely and a true contender.

''Over the last four decades, he's had a very significant impact on Broward in terms of its evolution, in terms of what it means to be an urban, forward-looking county,'' said Mitch Ceasar, chairman of the Broward Democratic Party. Republicans said Soule will challenge Ken because he was appointed and had no real competition before Soule.

Staunch Jenne supporters like Forman, the clerk of the courts, say the sheriff is a master of overcoming adversity.(Not)

''He's had his good times and rough times, and he's always come through shining,'' Forman added.``He's a very resilient person.'' THIS TIME HE MIGHT PAY THE FED PIPER.

What a joke! Would your own job fine you for getting into a fist fight? This guy already paid through bad exposure in the media and probably had to pay court fees and doctor bills.

Nothing like the National Felony League and now its double standards in dealing with off feild conduct of players. Jones, suspended for season, Henry and Johnson suspended for 8 games and now Porter runs scott free on suspension along with Vick.

Porter was convicted of a crime and should be suspended for his actions. Vick should be suspended based upon his federal indictment and if not guilty lift the suspension. But no, they don't want to hurt certain teams. If this was to happen in the real world outside of sports, see how long a common person will keep his job. Police officers are suspended based upon investigations so why not the felons in the NFL?? Guess money talk.

All Religious Dominations will have a universal meeting on the end of each month

IN MY CESSPOOL

Religion is a curse of Humanity and is a false promise to leave this world for entry into another (ugh)

The only life you have will be the one you have now.. stop dreaming and face reality

Religion has breed Contempt for centuries and the most hideous acts of murder were committed by Religious Fanatics claiming their religion to be the one and only.

Wake up feeble minded imitations of Man to understand Reality now

I know its hard to get the ghetto out of these punks .. But somewhere along the line they need to learn how to be respectable .. They are supposed to be Positive role models for kids and to get paid what they do they need to be respectable...

That was more than a fist fight, him and his boys jumped the dude. He conducted himself like a hoodlum. The Fins got lucky he wasn't suspended. I hope he stays out of trouble. The combination of Joey with JT, Zach, and Channing Crowder could be a great thing!

Although I'm quite relieved that Porter wasn't suspended, I'm also quite surprised. And as for Mike Vick, for having been indicted by the FEDS, he should be suspended immediately but WITH pay. If he's found innocent, he lost nothing monetarily. This charge is a felony and he should not be allowed to play until his name is cleared for the seriousness of the purported crime he may or may not have committed.

If you were convicted of a crime, that didn't efeect your job (as in you missing work) would you expect to get fined for it? He is a grown man capable of taking on the responsibilty of his actions. Allow the court system to punish.

Finally the NFL gets it right. Fine the player but don't hurt the team.

Porter gets to play three games for free.
