Krause was a stud in Wash. before Bud completed his defense by acquiring him.Just saying.Travis so far has made the best points. Yes the secondary is poor, has been for many, many years. But a strong pass rush can cover that up. If a QB doesn't have time to throw, he throws errantly, thus lower competion percentage, higher interception rate. Honestly Paul Krause wouldn't have the all time interception record if it wasn't for Eller, Larson, Page, and Marshall. The dude was a center fielder, when the QB was rushed he threw it up. You build winning teams in the trenches on both sides of the ball and suppliment from there. You give Spergon Wynn 8 seconds to throw the ball and a reciever will get open and he will find him. OK, sorry maybe not Spergon Wynn, but Rick Mirer might.
Since 1969 I've seen it all.
