There are 600 free agents. And we are supposed to believe none of the free agents are young and talented enough to help address the many weaknesses on this team?! The Vikings need to upgrade the roster by every means possible. THAT is the whole point of being way under the cap. Spielman seems more interested in saving the Wilfs money than improving the Vikings.

What was the Vikes reason last year & the year before that Look at the free sgent WR signings for the past few years.. As We all know You get what you paid for. Allen was worth his money & there was a few CB this year that are young & worth the signing risk. We Vikings fan have gone through two losing season & this management talks like give us Two or three more Years to put a winning team together. To me It sound a lot like a group of people trying to make there jobs last as long as they can., Think about it if they dont go out & sign a a few playmakers They can sit back & say We are looking for someone that fits the team A young talent that will be with the team a long time. I guess what management is saying is this season will be like the last Two. NO Talent at WR No CB That can cover.. The Vikings will take there chances on unproven talent in this draft. Come On Vikes Fans Does this sound Right to you. Give Us One free agent Playmaker Right?

I am now officially beginning to worry.

I thought the Vikings would sign one starter and a pair of potential starters from the outside. Instead were signing players that either should have been signed a week ago or shouldn't have been signed at all.

Granted if we go 9-7 this year that would be good, but if we have a 7-9 this year. Time to clean house.

The Vikings should go all Out I try to sign Mike Wallace away from the Steelers Give them their second round pick its almost as good as a frist round & throw in both 4th round picks, along with RB Toby Gerhart. He would fit the Steelers style of play of Hard nose running perfect. The Steelers get there RB & also Gerhart was a second round pick making it worth the Trade. It might a little wild but Wallace is worth what ever it will take to put Wallace in a Vikings uniform. The Vikings are allowed to negotiate for him Lets make a Offer for a Great WR That Ponder would love to throw to.

They won't trade Gerhart with Peterson's knee injury.

Gerhart was also hurt last year. He fits the steelers style of play better then he fits the Vikings I think. Anyway I think the Vikes should go all out & make the Steelers & Wallace a offer & If not Gerhart maybe Christian Ballard many has said he should have went in the second round. & He is a Steelers need also.
The Vikings needs someone like Wallace So Ponder has his Playmaker to throw to. The Vikes have the money & Wallace is Young & would be with the team long term & he is faster & a Better WR then anyone in the draft. Worth the picks & trade of a player or what ever it takes to sign him

Peterson might not be ready to go week one. They have nobody else at running back besides Gerhart. They won't trade him. lol

They won't sell the farm for one player. They have too many holes. Speilman is thinking long term. He won't do it.

You can make this trade on Madden if you want but it's just not going to happen in real life.

Speilman was just hired as the GM so he isn't going anywhere. The coaching staff might be gone next year if they are drafting in the top 5 again. They don't have to pay Chilly money anymore because he signed with Cleveland.

There must be somebody's backup QB that Spielman can spend a 2nd round draft pick on to get.
