You said, "Even though he knocked his own pocket awareness, Smith showed more of it than Boller ever has." You are so a racist. Black brother, doesn't mean Smith is any better than a White Boller. In fact Boller would be a very good QB it we had a good offensive gane play and someone who could make it work. You are such a bad writter and now you let color get in the way of the truth. NO one NO ONE could do any better as long as Billick is here running the show. Wake up you dumb As_, and judge not by color. ONe day Boller will kick the shit out of the Ravens when a good coach takes the time to teach and train him how to do it. That won't happen here not with a white or black player. The touchdown was made becasue the Seahawks had begun to make dinner reservatons and mail in the rst of the game. And why did the offensive wonder boy go for two when he wouldn't go for the win last week? Did he really think he could score 21 more points in the 4th quarter? God Billick is as bad a coach as you are a reporter.

I was thinking...maybe we should build the "Tomb Of The Unknown Quarterback" right here in the city in which the legend, Johnny U, played. After all, Ravens Country is currently where QBs old and young alike come to die. It would only be fitting. Happy Holidays, BaltimoreSun/Topix board! |

INCREDIBLY WELL? PRO BOWL CALIBER? You're getting way too carried away over this guy. He didn't do "inredibly well", he did about as well as could be expected, under the circumstances. He did well, considering he's a 5th round pick with almost no NFL experience, in a hostile environment (noise and weather wise), with a shaky o-line, a second string tight end, mediocre receivers, a second string running back, consistently poor field position, no offensive coordinator, and a head coach who lacks imagination and discipline (among other things). He couldn't move the team at all (except for one long pass at garbage time), but at least he didn't turn the ball over. Like I said, he did as well as could be expected. But you can say the same thing about Boller. After the horrendous play of McNair the first half of the season against the league's doormats, Boller took the reins of a dilapidated team that is in total disarray, and at times has looked like a credible NFL quarterback. You can't say that about Troy. We were soundly beaten yesterday, you might even say "blown away". So, NOBODY played incredibly well, although many have played incredibly poorly, or the team wouldn't be in this mess. Boller is easily the best quarterback that we have right now, although I don't think he's the answer. I think the best thing for Kyle is to be traded to another team, since there is no chemistry here with him. I think he can be a decent NFL quarterback somewhere, but not here. There are also plenty of potentially good QB's coming up in the draft, but let's not be fooled into thinking this guy's the answer either. He's probably not. |

You are a joke. Smith is not the answer. |

What QB in their right mind would want to come here. Our O-line hasn't given a consistent amount of time for QB protection since Trent Dilfer. I don't care if you put Joe Montana back there unless he has time to throw the exercise is useless. Last game I saw a different QB running the same inept offense. Standing behind the same clueless line. I know Biscotti is kicking himself in the azz right now for resigning Billick.

If not...I'm sure he wouldn't have any trouble finding volunteers. |

everyone is saying how smith has no one to play with and how the o line was terrible and the recievers were bad. hate to break it to u..but boller played wit the same guys. oh and did someone say pocket pressence? did u all forget the patriots game? the last game that mattered. Boller constantly stood in the pocket and didnt panick and delivered on the money passes. to the same davard darling. That game by him showed me wut he is all about and wut he can do. Every game he has played in besides the colts this year he has played well and deserves to be the started next year if we dont get a mjor trade. stop bashin on the kid...hes the best qb we got and we as FANS should cheer him and not bash him. and no i am not any way related to boller just in case another one of u was goin to ask that

Yeah. Wut he said. |

Actually, Boller did have our Starting Tailback. Smith didn't. Boller was also completely ineffective against the Dolphins in the second half, while with Troy under center they drove down the field. Boller has also had 5 years to develop into "the guy" Smith has had roughly 5 quarters. *If* Boller has played so well this year, why is his turnover ratio higher than his touchdown ratio? Consistancy is key in the NFL. Boller *may* have a game or two where he lights it up, but he's just as likely to throw multiple interceptions in a game. He's basically the East Coast Grossman. |
