Im so happy right now. The Ravens have been historically great in December, and at home. Things are looking up if you're a Baltimore sports fan. The Ravens are doing this without a bye week either. Lets try to win out and earn a bye in the playoffs. It'll be well deserved.
LETS GO RAVENS!!!

hey jeffro---how many divisions crowns since 2000? More than your Foreskins in the same amount of time. Yours is NONE since 2000. As for the Eagles tired--give me a break. How about the Ravens who haven't had a bye week? And how many Super Bowls have the Eagles won in the same amount of time compared to Baltimore? Uh, that's none too. Go back to sleep and pretend you have a better team than ours--whoever it is you root for.

I feel a little bad for Marvin Lewis too, but to me this just goes to show how much of a product of his players he was as the Ravens' D-Coordinator. The defence was so stacked by 2000 that it was almost unfair. A fifth-grader could have had just as much success with that unit as he did. Straight vanilla 4-3 all the time.

I don't feel bad for Marvin Lewis- his Carson Palmer led team has owned the Ravens since 2004. Now that the Ravens are showing signs of having an offense that can put up points, I will not feel nervous about the Ravens facing a Carson Palmer led team ever again.

Mike,
I agree about #10 getting reps with the first team during garbage time (the whole 4th qtr!) once it was clear the Bengals weren't even going to put an effort into trying to win/score points.

I still believe Cameron got what he wanted. He put in some plays that you only call on Madden and got some production out of them (some of them, anyway). Personally, I was yellin' at the screen to have Smith and Rice run the option all the way to the house (eats clock, gets production and scares Dallas).

Now, we're in December. This is show-up-and-play time. Man-up time. Contussions, sprains and breaks-don't-matter time! There's goal to reach. Everybody knows it was inconceivable in September, but now we know it can happen.

So my question is: ok, we ran Cameron's look-what-I-just-drew-up-on-my -drawing-board plays against the Raiders and Bengals, but I didn't see them against the Giants, Titans, or Steelers. Is the trickeration just that? Tricks? or are they actually going to gameplan some in against the Steelers and Cowboys?

You call the Bengals the worst team you've seen in 21 years? Wow, you must have been too busy stuffing your face with turkey on Thursday because Detroit is by far the worst team in the league.

I don't guess you would want to wager anything to back up your 8-8 prediction? Say...a nice cup of shut the f#$# up from Starbucks?

The Eagles were tired when they played the Ravens you could see it. Two games in 4 days will do that. Tough game against the skins coming. The Ravens are no Super Bowl team, but they had a great season and exceeded everyone's expectations. Joe Flacco was a great pick, the O line did a great job, Ray Rice..wow. Fabian Washington is coming around. They should be in contention again next year, pick up a real deep threat and you will have a (gasp) explosive offense.(Calm down I know that is a big word in Baltimore) If Harbaugh doesn't punish everyone in camp next year and the team stays healthy they could be S Bowl contenders next year. It would be nice to win one more for Ray Lewis before he retires, for all the service and loyalty he has done for that team.
Well their second game in that 4 days was against the Cardinals which they beat. They had a full week to prepare for the Ravens, and they got smashed. The Ravens make a lot of teams look tired, and had 2 games in 4 days.

Preston meant to say, "I am so pissed off at the Bengals for not beating the Ravens, thus proving that I am an idiot for drinking the ESPN/Ocho-Cinco koolaid, that I'll call them the worst team in 21 years."

I'm man enough to admit I thought we would only get 5 wins this year, but see I'm happy to be wrong. Preston and all the idiot prognosticators can't get past their egg-shell egos enough to say they were horribly, horribly WRONG!

Mikey last week you said the Bungles were still quite the threat to score with those receivers now in a matter of one whole game they are the worst you seen in 21 years. What next week the worst in 21 years and 7 days? Get your story straight. And there you go sympathizing with the enemy in your buddy Marvy Lewis. The guy just is not a head coach period. He lost this season way back when like in July...

The Ravens still haven't beaten a really good team.As late as last weekend, Philadelphia shut the Ravens down pretty well offensively; their defense set up most of their scoring.
Right now they should make the playoffs but will likely be a first-round goner unless they can do it against good clubs.
hey numbnuts, they DID do it against good teams (Steelers,Titans) They didn't win but they out-played them both and should have won both.

I love the way the Ravens are playing right now and they seem to be inproving each week. But l don't see them making the playoff unless they can run the table. lt doesn't look like anyone else can beat the G! D! Steelers!!

I am a lifelong Baltimore resident, but not a Ravens fan. That being said,i feel good for the Ravens fans that have had to sit through sixty minutes of no offense, all defense these past several years (McNair was better than the other QB's mostly) and now can actually look forward to their quarterback running onto the field. I used to feel sorry for you when Boller ran out there, you knew what was coming. Anyway, even if you don't go far in the playoffs (and you WILL make it looking at the remaining schedule) you've had a better year than anybody thought you'd ever have. Enjoy it Ravens fans!
