Titans vs. Raiders: Pregame

It's a beautiful afternoon in Nashville for the Titans' season opener against the Oakland Raiders.

That was just sad! The Raiders need to get it together. A lot of talent and a huge line but they were slow and just outplayed on every level of the game today. I am still thinking (now hoping) they will step up but today was awful!

Darren McFadden surprisingly had a good game. Zach Miller came alive once they started throwing to him, but the OL was just pathetic. Veldheer still has some work to do at Center, but the right side was just awful. 9-7 is still possible, but we got a lot of work to do if it's acutally gonna happen.

I agree some aspects of the game showed promise (McFadden, Miller anbd some individual performances by a couple of the defensive players). And the Titans looked real sharp on both sides of the ball....man, we have a lot of work to do! Still think the 9-7 is doable...We'll see

To me the worst part of the game was the play calling and coaching mistakes. I know there is two ways to look at this, but the second half I would have started Gradkowski. I know Campbell needs time to gel with the team, but we were getting man handled and putting him in might have sparked something and if it did, than ride the hot hand.

The best part of the game was the score.
