That was great when the Tennessee Titans stomped on the "Terrible Towel"! It was as if they were stomping on Myron Cope himself and posthumously smearing his face in the mud!

I was in a bar with a ton of Steelers fans when that happened and I was laughing and laughing and laughing at all the dejected faces all around me!

LOL!

Hmm...nice that you think that way about a guy who not only is dead, who had done so much for disadvantaged children and the medical research for the challenged.
He never took a buck for the simple gimmick that became what is the Terrible Towell.

So what if Myron Cope is dead? People die all the time, that's one of the natural cycles of life.

You want to know who else is dead? Mike Webster, but he died early because of all the steroids he took. That's how the Steelers won those four Super Bowls back in the 70s, by taking massive amounts of steroids. Because they are cheaters.

That and the fake illegal touchdown known as the "Immaculate Reception" that kicked things off. The first major known incident of the refs throwing a crucial game to the Steelers. That is a habit the refs have had a real hard time breaking over the years.

Saying a man is dead is one thing, saying that it is like 'smearing his face in the mud' is another. This man did a lot and still does a lot even in passing for 1ooo's upon 1ooo's of children.

Okay...I forgot, the Steelers were the only team to have a few players use steroids. Your right, they cheated.

Yeah...the refs always have the Steelers' collective backs. You need a history lesson...

How did the immaculate reception kick things off? Please provide key points and evidence.

Bill Cowher needs to shut his mouth! He isn't the coach anymore and he is supposed to be unbias. Maybe he should talk about his hot headed receiver Mr Ward. Big freaking del they step on a towel. Maybe they should have won the game so it didn't happen. BTW karma is a bitch when you were given a touchdown thw week before when is wasn't one. I will still support the Steelers over the Colts though.

The "Immaculate Reception" was not a legal forward pass completion, and the refs knew it but they didn't want to risk being the goats and have the fans come after them so they spinelessly let the play stand. John Madden's Raiders got screwed. Just like the Seahawks got screwed (only that was a lot worse because it was happening the whole game long). Just like the Ravens got screwed a couple weeks ago.

Why is everyone overly concern with the Titans now? Steelers need to focus on what needs to be done to ensure the rematch. Titans will choke probaly anyway and wont be there in the AFC Championship game...just like the Ravens.

I think the Steelers will lose this weekend to Cleveland, and then they will be one and done in the playoffs. That much is clear at this point in time.

Also, Ben Toothlessburger is going to blow out his knee in the first quarter against the Browns, and it will be a severe enough ligament tear that he will be forced to miss most of the 2009 season rehabilitating.(He will probably use steroids to help him rehabilitate.)

Not a chance, they are an obvious one a done team, like last season when they lost to Jacksonville at home in the first round.

That's because their head coach is a drunk.

How do you figure? It was legal, the only determination is whether it hit Frenchy Fuqua or Jack Tatum first...if they had replay then, it would be hard to over turn. Did the Steelers get maybe a 'home stadium' call at that time, maybe. Maybe not...

Good for Madden's Raiders...the could have won that game on so many other fronts. Please provide evidence as to how that 'kicked' it off? You provided none.

The SB game versus Seahawks was poorly called on both teams...go back and look.

Where was the Steeler 'breaks' by the refs in the AFC Divisional Playoff game at the Dome with the Colts? Where? Where was the breaks? Where?

What do you have to call Tomlin a drunk?

You really think Ben will play in a game which has no effect on the outcome of the season?

Why are people still b---ing about the Seattle game? It WAS a touchdown -- it CLEARLY broke the plane. People need to let it go.

Because he takes way to much drugs and alcohol.

My sentiments exactly, I have watched that play numerous times, and I can understand why the official it that way. From the angles that he had, it breaks the plane. Plus...the Seahawks could have made a tackle on Willie's long run...refs didn't do much there.

Even Ben knows he didn't score. He said so on the sideline after the play, and he said so on Letterman the next night. It wasn't even close. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Steelers fans who think he scored on that play are living in a dream world.
