Are the undefeated Patriots big bullies?

Full story: Palm Beach Post

Jimmy immediately threw a bomb and Shula pulled him out and just screamed at him and told him if he did anything like that again, he'd be sitting down the rest of the year If NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell really wanted to punish the New England Patriots for Spygate, he shouldn't have taken away a draft pick, but Bill Belichick's joystick. via Palm Beach Post

It is possible that the New England Patriots will go undefeated this year. Then again...the matchup with Pittsburgh is looming and I like the way the steelers are playing...I like their defense and I think Big Ben (who threw 5 touchdown passes Monday night) has had a tremendous 7-1 season.

I've been a fan of New England since I was a boy and I remember the watching the Bears destroy my team in the Super Bowl. I might have cried...I was 10 years old.

After seeing the comments of Manny Fernandez about this "record" run I have to laugh a little.
"Yeah, they're running it up. Belichick is a criminal. This guy is just brutal." (Palm Beach Post...Hal Habib)

Manny played for Don Shula on an undefeated team that crushed all opposition. He claims that Shula didn't want to blow out the other teams they played. Habib quotes Fernandez; "Miami's 52-0 rout of New England ....infuriated coach Don Shula. He had pulled starting quarterback Earl Morrall for Jim Del Gaizo after the victory was secured." As far as I know victory is only secured at the final gun. How many scores do you need to "secure" victory? Habib states that the '72 Dolphins won by an average of only 14.1. That's two touchdowns!

I don't intend to disect the comments of Fernandez further. It is interesting to what lenghts people will go to discredit the Patriots organization.

Let's remember Football Fans...the season is not over and the Patriots while undefeated today may not be come Sunday. Let's not get too excited about defending the sanctity of the game and the wholesome '72 Dolphins.

Vitory is not yet secured.
