Offense puts it on the line

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Didn't we go through this exact same process last year? Our line stinks so bad at the beginning that we have no chance at the playoffs, then they'll play well the last 4-6 games. Maybe next offseason we can switch all their positions again.

Heres the joke! The joke of the day goes ike this. The cowboys are coming to our house! They are coming to take from us.They are thinking they have an easy game!I dont know about the rest of you but no one I mean no one comes in my house and leaves with anything! You go ahead and focus on the minimal factors that people say are big problems.Go ahead and over look this team. When its all said and done today we will be victorious and people will be singing a different tune! The Fins will rise up and leave the BOYS bloodied and battered!Thats how we protect our house.HELL YEAH GO FINS!!!!

hey rumblefish...i like your attitude, and i sure as hell hope you're right. But, our OL should have at least 2 more high draft/skill OL to be working with right now if the team hadn't wasted picks the last few years. I'm getting tired of it. Everyone starts talking about players like Ginn and Quinn around draft time when we should be picking guys like Ugoh or Brown. Funny how everyone forgets about the OL until the games start to matter. As far as I can tell the only word of truth in this article is that EVERYTHING starts with the guys in the trenches. Our OL might become serviceable with some experience, but we need upgrades at a couple positions before we'll become championship caliber. It would've been nice if we already had those upgrades working with our line and beginning to gel...wouldn't it?

Most these guys on the O- line are scrub's from loseing teams that Saban brought in.Except Carey who was drafted by Wanny and is really a bust.

Rumblefish you need to get a real life!! Remember this is a GAME only. Somebody coming into your house and taking something has nothing to do with two football teams. Actually why would someone come into your house and take something unless you're not home?? Two totally different scenerios....Now if you're talking about homefield advantage -the Dolphins aren't that good..not yet anyway. It wouldn't surprise me if the Dolphins pulled the upset but then again it's just a GAME.....

This dolphins team is pathetic, and even worse are the fans. Where was everyone at the end of the game- the stands looked empty. What a bunch of fair-weather fans!

Trent Green looked like an old man out there today. Why is a geriatric out there playing? Shouldn't he be at an early bird special at 4pm?

I can't wait to see all of Marino's records fall. And what was Marino playing for? Not a Super Bowl. I am so glad he never won anything.

All the people in So Fla talk about is how great Marino was. But without his personal records, he was nothing.

And someone please get his ugly face off of the billboards on I75 and I595 promoting jewelry!

hey rumblefish...did you actually see the game? i don't get any dolphins games up in minnesota, so i have no idea how the OL actually played. I'd heard on TV that they actually played well enough to win.

And, don't ever apologize for being a fan. There's nothing wrong with cheering on your team...it just sometimes clouds our vision of what the team's weaknesses and strengths really are. I wish you'd been right.

frankly, i still think the team can be better than 8-8. it doesn't sound like most fans on these boards think we'll be any better than 4-12 after the first 2 games of the season. THAT to me is proof that they're not much of a fan.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Cancer

You've had enough time to yourself lately. This is a day to focus on family, with all the good and bad that that brings. Crabs would much rather be at the top of the tree than down near the roots, but that's life. You might be smart when it comes to matters of the heart, but you don't know it all quite yet.
