"I have said that I am supportive of the coaches on the staff," Boston said. "I am hoping that some will remain part of the team."

Maybe you should let your next coach decide that. We have had four years of horrible football, the worst we have seen since Mike Noll, yet he is still supportive of the previous staff. I think it's time for Boston to get a reality check or better yet get out of town. Something tells me he is going to make another bad choice for head coach. And btw... can ANYBODY in the media ask Boston WHY he thinks a spread offense that didn't work in four years will somehow work now? I don't think they should abandon the pass altogether but it's pretty clear NMSU doesn't have the talent to run the kind of offense Boston wants, and I doubt we will ever be able to garner that kind of talent. To bad the media in this town is so sorry they can't ask the hard questions. When is the sun-news next love feat Q and A with Boston??? I am sure we will learn allot for that idiot.

I agree. Boston is OBLIVIOUS TO REALITY!!! Why would you even interview anyone on Mumme's staff!? You need someone with name recognition or at least someone from a winning program that knows how to win!!!!! As far as the air raid, YOU NEED WIDE RECEIVERS TO RUN THE SPREAD OFFENSE! Mumme recruited four running backs last year!! & only a few wideouts. & as far as defense, the only air raid around Las Cruces was that of opposing teams scoring like crazy on the Aggies (thank you Joe Lee Dunn).

Maybe its me, but their receivers seem very short. Aern't most wide outs 6'0 or above? I had a class with a wide out that was 5'8, call me crazy but id like a large target to throw at.

There is only one direction to go when you are at the very bottom. What a moronic statement. Unless they have shovels and want to go down even further.
