I'm starting to think my 4-8 prediction was a bit optomistic.

RB was 1 of his last 5 passes with a pick and another near pick, don't forget the two brutal sacks.

How cute. My UCLA Bruins are heartsick. I am an Alum and a season ticket holder.
As I watched our offenses lack of growth from week 1 to week 5, we
too are heatsick. We are literally paying for this heartache, Coach. It's embarassing.

Nice call on 4th and 1 at the goal line: A quarterback sneak that did not work on 3rd down
with a a quarterback that has lost 15 pounds because of injury and not at full stregnth.

You even took a timout to decide what play you were going to call, and that was the
best you could come up with?

Defense: We in the Alum section love you. You make us proud with your effort and
courage. You fight on every drive. I am not a rah rah sort of guy, but everytime they ask
us to yell "Defense", I do at the top of my lungs. I only feel sorry that your great effort
every game goes to waste.

This team is better than this. As alums and fans, we did not think we were going to undefeated
this season. But these losses and the way we are losing is unacceptable and I lay the blame
on the coaching staff.

As I predicted last week. UCLA is downhill from now on. Stanford much praised team lost to Oregon St. To be honest, Oregon wasn't that impressive either.
As far as leadership is concerned based on this article, there is a fine line between "wanna be" leaders and real leaders. "Wanna be" leaders talks a lot while real leaders speak from their actions.

I love the Bruins' heart. Now, can we kindly recruit and field some D-1 talent? The most pumped up jc calibre team would still not stand much chance beating any Pac-10 team. Its a telling commentary when your MVP is your place kicker.

Wow! A lot of negativity here. I have no excuses though because I was there to witness our mistakes. Honestly though, not only as a Bruin fan but as a football fan, I think our team will be alright. I give credit to the Ducks for taking advantage of the mistakes we made, but I don't think we got outplayed at all. I had high hopes when I heard Prince was starting again but the way he performed was a reality check for me. It doesn't matter who starts next game, all I know is that Chow needs to find a way to score touchdowns. I don't know if it was him or RN who called that QB sneak, but that was just hard to watch.

By the way.. All you haters can suck my bolas

Who cares about the Ruins?! There still gonna get their asses handed to them when they play SC at the Coliseum. This team is not going to a bowl game AGAIN!! When you think of losing, choking & mediocrity you think of UCLgAy football!!

Yep, since the players tried to rationalize the loss by saying that it was 'good' for them, they must be OVERJOYED at choking the game away last Saturday!
Hey Reggie Carter: I think that Toby Gerhart is still "waiting for you on the other side of the LOS"
All talk, no results.

You mean the Washington team that has a 2-1 record in conference versus your 0-2 record?

The Tennessee game made K. Prince my hero. It really upsets me that his injury was caused by helmet to helmet contact. Kevin did not roll over but went back and wanted to finish the game. Bravo Kevin!
The Oregon game was a fluke for the Ducks. 24 seconds and the game was over for the Burins.
I think the first flag against the Burins was called for face-mask violation. But it was call after the O QB ran around calling for the flag.
In the second half, I think it was, an O receiver grabbed our defender in the mask and held on for 15 yards. No frinking call. Even the TV guys was appalled.
No matter, the zeb's just wanted to close the game out and go and drink beer and do things to that only payoff crooks provide.
