Rolle to miss month at least

Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle underwent surgery on his injured neck and will be out for at least a month.

I think a lot of us had more concerns with the CB situation than almost anything else before the season started. I don't think Collins is in the same league as Roethlisburger and I don't think he has the same weapons to throw to, but if the back ups don't step up to the plate, a veteran like Collins could pick apart the secondary enough to win. Hopefully the D will be able to sustain pressure on him so he doesn't get the chance. It should be a competitive game.

Fabian Washington is a huge upgrade over Ivy or Frank Walker. He's not really a drop off from Rolle. You must be thinking of the team we had last year. Also, Rolle and McCallister were out for that game and Reed left early. No way Collins passes all over on us.

Rolle is past his prime and was pitiful last year. I realize the man has had health issues but irregardless, his better days are behind him. Fabian Washington is faster and more physical. McCallister and Reed are the ones you have to worry about staying healthy because without them, the Ravens secondary becomes average at best. Rolle being out does not concern me in the least.

I honestly am looking forward to Rolle being off the roster completely.he has had good games and bad ones but its time to draft a good young corner.

Losing Rolle does hurt, but as long as the pass rush is there, the Ravens should be ok.
