Joe Flacco went from third string QB in preseason to AFC Offensive Player of the Week in week 9 of the 2008 season. Who would have thought that would happen in August?

I didn't know Flacco was awarded Offensive Player of the Week, I agree its just incredible how far he has come since the first preseason game against the Pats.

I am just glad to see one of our offensive players get the weekly award. It could of gone to one of three players this week. Rice, incredible performance, 153 yds ruching. Or, even Mason, great game for the "Old Man"! 136 yds and a TD. Maybe they should of split it 3 ways!! After all, isn't this the Team concept" they have been preaching since Harbaugh come on board!
