I say that giving the rookie Matt Leinart a chance is a great idea. The Cardinals may not be any better than a mediocre team this year, and it could prove to be a great opportunity to train a rookie for the next season. Maybe Matt Leinart can prove to be the next Ben Roethelisberger and take his team to the conference championship game his second year in the NFL. =D

Nice job Cardinals. Not only did golden boy blow it again, but they're in the midst of chasing away one of the games true heroes. Kurt Warner is twice the qb hollywood boy is, Edge is doing horrible ; but the o-line gets the blame for that. Kurt gets no protection and all of a sudden its he can't play anymore. If Warner through out of the shotgun like golden child did last night he'd still be the qb. By the way nice job of putting up seven the 20 times you were in the red zone last night pretty boy. So long Kurt you were the only good thing about the Cardinals. Sorry you had to be Denny's fall guy.

Hey Jve,
Matt Leinart is the only bright spot going for the cards and he throws the ball NOT throughs the ball.

Don't blame either QB, there are more problems to worry about, like starting with your kick-off return man (ARRINGTON 2YEARS and nothing to show. Next the offensive line, but it's not all there fault, EJ dances to much in the back field (HE SHOULD BE COMPETING AGAINST EMMITT. FIZ who, your forgetting that the real star of the team is ANQUAN BOLDIN and the DEFENSE. SO, make sure you sign all your defensive team back, or we'll be back to square one. We also need some big time OFF. AND DEF. COORDINATORS. Another thing, start working MARCEL SHIPP back into the flow of things. He plays like Q which means 110% hard.

I agree that Warner definitely has what it takes to bring this team to the next level. Leinart is learning from the best in the game at his position so if he provides to be productive that can be a real positive sign. The offensive line still sucks so I see Leinart getting injured within 4 weeks of so in the season. James will be dead again this year and his offensive talent will be all gone so say goodbye to him after this season. Weisenhunt will not be a factor this season and will not be much an improvement from Green. I definitely agree with just about everything that Jess from El Paso says on this topic. Warner has at least two more good years left in him. Don't worry though because Leinart is still learning and will get injured soon. Just like in the movie, "The Mechanic", the teacher will out play the rookie and he will get his starting job after week 4. Well put Jess from El Paso!

Leinarts stats are horrible. Warner is doing a much better job and now that Leinart is injured for the season, the Cards will now become a playoff team. Leinart cannot memorize the plays so he is a sitting duck when it comes to being QB and now he is injured. Like I said before, "Sucess on the college gridiron doesn't equate to automatic sucess in the NFL". Warner is proving, day in and day out against Leinart, that he is the better, smarter, and more patient QB and therefore is the better man for the job. Warner is Arizonas only hope for any type of post season sucess now and in the future. "Sucess is a medicine that fools smart people into thinking that they can't lose" Quote by Bill Gates, Former Chairman of Microsoft.
