The Eagles need to commit to a running game.

O'Dork actually made some good points in this article. I disagree that you can't expect a defense to hold a team to less than thirty points and that somehow it is the offenses fault. Yea, the kicked alot of field goals or attempted to but the Eagles defense which is famous for holding teams to field goals gave up big play after big play and failed to hold in the red zone in the first half. Defense let them down in this one. The offense played well enough to win.

Dont you mean city of the World Champion Phillies!! Shove it jacka$$. Your the same moron who said all year the Eagles weren't going to make the playoffs and then you claimed they weren't going to win. You have zero credibility. Stick to supporting GW he needs all the help he can get.

Hey LOSER-
Getting to the playoffs is a philly dream... All other NFL teams consider winning the super bowl as a goal--- CITY OF LOSERS. And I wouldn't brag about your phillies-- it took them 125 years to get two world series--- it took the METS less than 25 years to do it. It took the Marlins less than ten to do it-- 125 years!!!! Nothing to scream about LOSER!!

Looks like one more year with Reid and McNabb. The Birds need a RB, WR, TE, OL and DE (Peppers??) to make this team get over the hump. I fear that this team will screw up the draft (as usual) and it will be another woulda, coulda, shoulda year!

Wasn't Jackson a pick in last year's draft? I am not saying the Eagles haven't screwed up a bunch of picks in the past, but he looks like a pretty good pickup to me.

Your a Mets fan, huh? That explains the anger. Who cares how long it took? Only losers care about what happened 25 years ago. You sound like Al Bundy trying to recapture your glory days. The present is all I care about and presently Philly is on top of the world of baseball. Now go back to your couch, Al and talk about the old days when you could actually get it up.

Sorry you can't get through the metal detector with the plate you have on your face. Besides your ugly mug would scare away all the tourists.

Yes, even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in awhile. Let's face it, the Eagles' overall drafting record is poor and what's worse is that they don't see their immediate needs like an RB, FB, TE, etc. going into the season.

One of the real pleasures of watching the WORLD CHAMPION PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES was watching them kick the NY Mets ass and deny them the CHANCE to win the WORLD SERIES. Remember, Bushwasright, it's a "what have you done for me lately" league and what have your Mets done lately?? NOTHING!!

Yea, but one team finished among the top four of the league. Not sure finishing in the top four of 32 teams means you suck. Dallas went from Superbowl lock to missing the playoffs. Now that sucks.

Any chance that the Eagles had of winning their 1st Superbowl, has been traded to Denver...There's no way anybody on defense can replace Brian Dawkins and the move pay immediate dividends!!

I love Dawkins, but he has been a liability in coverage schemes. The reason the eagles have been so successful is because they don't overpay for againing vets. As a leader he will be missed, but not as much on the field of play.

What is your feeling about RB Correl Buckhalter (whose yet to reach his peak) no longer a supporting cast in the Eagles dynamic due backfield that included Brian Westbrook!!??!!
