I'm glad to hear Allen is getting another year and Knapp is on his way out.

The Tom Cable era proved what consistancy with the head man can do as he got them out of the dog house with an 8-8 season ending the skid of double digit losing seasons. The transition to Jackson as the head coach wasn't as big a deal since he was the offensive coordinator under Cable for the good year. Personally I don't think Jackson got a fair chance, so I think it's only fair to give Allen another year or two to build on.

it is what it is if they keep dennis allen but personally i'd fire him. i know we all talk consistency and stability with holding on to a coach, but i don't see it working under dennis allen. i'd jump at the chance of gruden, lovie smith, or andy reed, now that oportunity is there. these coaches are the kind you take chances with for the "long haul". with dennis allen you can say, okay, you tried, thank you for the 4-12 season, bye bye and good luck! oh, do you want a d-coaching job here?

Bring in Tom Cable for the O-line.

Bring in Hue as OC--but he has to know his place and not overstep his boundaries.

Give Dennis Allen another year as HC.

Something has to be done about Tarver. I was not impressed with our D. I don;t mind him getting another year, though.

Andy Reid and Lovie Smith were all with the same team for a long time so obviously they know how to do some things right. I am open to one of them coming in as HC but I don't think it's gonna happen. Shannahan was in Denver for a long time before they finally parted ways with him and now he's in Washington and going to the playoffs in just his second year.

sounds like d allen is the one who fired g knapp, so, yea no, dennis allen's job is safe i believe. but the thought of those two reed and lovie SURE IS TEMPTING!and we know it ain't gonna happen. i doubt tarver gets fired either. him and allen seem kind of close SO, moving forward. question is,
WHO REPLACES GREG KNAPP?

I think they should start fresh with h/c and every body else and then bring in a quarterback who can actually read a defense with a durable rb and why not T.O or Ochocinco what could that hurt

I just look at it this way we cant get any worst then what we are now but the raiders really need to take a look at who is out there just two of those coaches out there can turn this org around so good but i know we are straped at salary cap right now

Wouldn't surprise me to see Al Saunders replace Knapp R.M.. Already on the payroll, was considered for the job last year, worked closely with Hue, knows the players and their strengths, has as much experience running an offence as anyone in the league.

Saunders also had the line creating lanes for McFadden. They could do worse, that's for sure.
