Sad that the top story is about an old story with new details when we are NOT SELLING OUT our big game on Sunday. I can't blame Wayne Weaver if he decides to sell our team. Although selling our team would break my heart a 3-1 team playing a division rival would sell out anywhere else in the league. Good job on the unapreciative fans of Jacksonville, way to be the laughing stock of the league...

Again, when is this fat slob going to be canned from the team? We hicks here in Jacksonville are tired of his fat drunken ass. He's a road hazard and we have enough of those around already. Send him to Miami or St. Louis.

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO TELL THE TRUTH WHEN YOU MAKE A MISTAKE? WE ARE HUMAN AFTER ALL AND AS HUMANS WE WILL MAKE MISTAKES. IF A PERSON ADMITS TO A MISTAKE THEN I AM WILLING TO BE MORE UNDERSTANDING BUT LIE TO ME AND I WILL HAVE MY DOUBTS.I GUSESS THEY DON'T TELL YOU THESE THINGS IN HOLLYWOOD,DC OR SPORT VENUES

Speaking of the moron thing, the wife probably gave in/up because she knew if he was charged and put into jail as a felon he could not practice law again and they “she would loose here meal ticket” go to understand some people cannot handle living out of the box and standing up for themselves.

As for the jags/fags…did I hear you say they might leave well then send them packing and take the high rollers with them that would end this need to impress and constant struggle to keep up with what ever the league wants it gets from this city. By the way, when did we become so dependent on a football game to survive, are we so weak, ignorant, and lacking the education that we cannot survive without them? I do see some of the players doing better by the city but administration sucks and has a bad attitude and a ego problem.

When's Del Rio going to get rid of this guy? Only Fred Taylor has had the nerve to tell Barnes to get with it. C'mon, he's driving drunk, lying to police, calling Jax a hick town, crashing his car....do we really want to buy a Jags ticket and help him buy a new car?

The team that was once the pride and joy of Jacksonville only seems to make the wrong kind of headlines lately. The team really needs to deal with the players who are not positive role models for the young fans. Manners and good behavior "begin at home".

first time here, could someone give me the history on this guy. I find it rather interesting when reading the comments above... but a little confuse with the hick slogan used occasionally.

Once again, a Jaguar in trouble with the law. Oh my, what a shock. This all angers me for various reasons. The buggest one being that I have a 13 year old son that still thinks football players are likened to heros! NOT! I pray that my son never grows up to be like these guys who are out in public setting very poor examples for the youth of today.

Off the field the Jags are mostly a an embarrassing groups of thugs. On the field, well, that remains to be seen. They won't be getting any of my money for tickets this year!

Yeah he was on tape when he went on his drunken racial rage and only took a few months to apologize to the people of jax and JSO and thats only after the JAGLIAR organization recommened him to do so. If you want a copy of this idiot racial thug I think the times union has a copy. They try to give the JAGLIARS a copy but of course they werent interested.

OH COME ON!

The problem is that Barnes IS accustomed to more upscale surroundings than Jacksonville. His refined tastes are stiffled here and I just hope that the City Council can find a way to publicly apologize to him for having to live in this hick town. JEEZ! He could do better!

It goes to show you that all you need is money to pay the judges off here in good ole Jax. Barnes will not only drive himself to the game on Sunday, he will also play.
