OF COURSE CHARGES WERE DROPPED...JAX DOESN'T WANT A VISIT FROM AL OR JESSIE. THIS MAN LEFT THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT...WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A WHITE CITIZEN WOULD HAVE DONE THAT?

What a coincidence !!! That the charges are dropped and the 911 tapes were not recorded, this from a person who called Jacksonville a " hick town " This just proves how the law can be bent to certain peoples will...NOONE is above the law , he should be punished accordilngly..Oh yeah by the way , this has nothing to do with the race card either...it's called right and wrong and knowing the difference.

I am so sick of celebrities being above the law. Law enforcement is a freaking joke.

Gotta stop treating the Jaguar players like children and make them "man-up". How can you treat regular locals any differently when they break the law and spend days in jail and treated like thugs. It has never happened to me but if it did I better get the kid-glove treatment like these blockhead JAGS.

Come on now I'm sure the State would have let any of us go on DUI and Reckless driving. I mean all he hit was a tree and then called the Police later on after being an IDIOT and telling them he hit the tree then called back later and told them his car was stolen which should be obstruction of Justice. Hey if you make millions playing a Childs game you have the right to act like a Child I guess. I'm sure he is sorry and won't ever do it again.

Surprise! A football player got off again. Wonder what the statistics are of the number of football players who are arrested for one thing or another. How can we teach our children what's right and wrong when lawyer have changed the definition to who plays the game the best and who can pay them the most money.

Harry Shorestein's office is noted for plea dealing and dropping charges. I am not in the least surprised that they pander to the Jaguars. They just did the same thing a few weeks ago for a college player. We really must keep the professional thugs happy so they will not move their team.

If an everyday joe drove up on a neighbor's lawn, crashed into a tree, called to report the accident and then was so inebriated (sp?) that he forgot he called and tried to call back and lie his way out by claiming it was stolen, he would have lost his license for a year minimum, done maybe 90 days in jail and had probation with alcohol piss testing once a week. If we all flooded Shorstein's office with E-mail, I doubt it would do any good, but we may all feel better. There is a link on www.coj.net that will get you there.

He will be back behind the wheel of a car and probably drunk too. Let him kill somebody the sate attorney's office should be held liable. I thought the group MAD had some clout i guess it just punishes white rednecks in this one horse town.
