Full story: The Indianapolis Star

The Indianapolis Colts' ever-expanding injury report remains uncertain in the wake of Sunday night's loss at San Diego, but it appears that one of their most important players, defensive end Dwight Freeney, ...

Didn't hear a peep from the media about all the injured Patriots during the AFC championship game last year, stop making excuses for the Colts, polian will certainly do enough sniffling to satisfy all the Colt fans

Oh dear God I just vomited in my mouth.........oh wait that is right........we could beat every one of the remaining teams on our schedule with Jim Sorgi as our starting QB. Nevermind.
Chalk it up folks........14-2 1st round bye in the playoffs. Not a bad year at all.
exactly!!! good post not much left on schedule except maybe at Baltimore, but none of their players like each other and really stink right now. Jax and Tenn will be tough, but both at home and Colts seem to have them figured out, Jax more than Tenn. Just get healthy. Marvin sit until you are ready. All of the concussions are adding up however.

My husband hurt his leg playing football in high school, and it bothered him his whole life. In their later years I hope these injured Colts players don't regret playing such a dangerous game. Personally, I think it's also a silly game.

So here we have the injury report:
Marvin Harrison:'bruised knee' A 'bruise' that has kept a player off the field for 2 months. My grandmother had a bruised knee from falling on the concrete floor, and was walking fine and much better 2 weeks after the incident.
i.e. Bruised knee really means ligament damage, but Marvin refuses to have surgery.
Freeny...'unspecified' foot injury. I.e. Probably a broken foot, or severe sprain...out until the playoffs.
I wonder why our team cannot seem to stay healthy...EVER? I think it is time to pull up our skirts and go win the AFC South and get a bye in the playoffs. If we are not careful, the Steelers are going to have a #2 seed, and we will have to go to New England or Pittsburgh in the 2nd round.
It depends on the severity of it. I had a brused knee that involved a bone bruse. It took 6-8 weeks to heal. And even then it was easily aggravated.

What???? Are you kidding me. That is all we heard about. "If the Patsies had this or that guy."

The Colts didn't have all their starters in that game either.

Relax everyone. I was at the game last night in San Diego and the COLTS had no business even having a chance to win the game. I don't see a team on our schedule the rest of the season who will beat us. Short term.. yes.. it sucks we lost... Long term.. we're the # 2 seed and are going to New England in January. GO COLTS!

Special teams? More like special ed! Can't stop a kick return or make a kick when it counts. Can't blame that on injuries to the offense either.

Any team with that many injuries needs to question its physical conditioning program.

You gotta be kidding me right? Have you seen any of the other threads? That's all your lousy, whiny fans could talk about. "If we had had this person." "If we had had that person." "If the heat hadn't been turned up." "If the crowd hadn't been so noisy." You guys are the KINGS of whining and I cannot even believe you wrote that with a straight face.

Not only is Dwight Freeney's injury a cause for continued concern, but so is the entire rest of the season IF we allow the special teams coach to remain. The Colts have the most inept special teams unit in NFL history.

I stopped Joe Jackson from whopping michaels ass.
The Colts are pampered Champs. The are malingers the slighest injury and the mantra of the organization is lets save them for the playoffs.
These playoffs you are saving them for are going to be in Foxboro in 20 degrees temps with snow on the ground.
We all know how these colts play in these elements. No championship for these colts. This was lost in the front office. Suck up and play you pampered athletes.
You disappoint me Colts.

Dungy always has something in the back of his mind--would the Colts rather have homefield advantage with no starters, or not have home field advantage with all the starters? I think we all know that we want to see Marvin, Clark, Freeney, and Ugoh in the game come playoff time.
