Would that be Jim as in Irsay? It's a real shame Indiana does not have referendum voting on these kind of projects. Maybe that's why the pole taken prior to the building was never published.
Poll idiot. You take the pole.

I hope this poor schmuck doesn't buy a house in Marion county. My proposed tax hikes have just begun. I'm getting ready to send before the city-county council via my main brother Monroe Gray a proposal to tax the sh-t out of all of the Colts.....and the best part is, I couldn't give a rat's a--.

<quoted text>Gee, If you couldn't care less about the Colts, Why did you bother to read the article and post a comment? Also, you said "they can leave here for all I care" but you posted your comment from Hartford CT. Funny, I wasn't aware that the Colts were in Hartford CT. Here's an idea, the Colts can stay in Indianapolis, you can stay in Hartford and I'll stay in Colorado. I will root for the Colts from afar and you can continue to be a moron from afar.
Well Done. In his smug East Coast face.

It's simple, quit working at Burger King and make something of yourself. Then you may be able to afford luxuries in life. I had tickets in college - while paying for the tuition, books and room and board on my own income - I don't feel sorry for your miserable life.

Why are Colts fan - and all other sports fans labeled as ignorant and dumb? Somehow, all of the malcontents in life want to blame their lack of fortitude in life on others. It's too bad they can't seem to understand that their fate is determined by one and only one person - the person in the mirror. If you don't like what you see - don't blame Bart, Mitch, or Jim - blame yourself for your miserable existence.

This young man is starting his career in the NFL & some of you idiots think that negative comments are in order. Anthony Gonzalez hopefuly will be a positive addition to thew Colts & help them achieve their next title.

The problem with people on here that are posting negative comments were total losers in high school and college. They probably got cut from the high school football team. They had to work in the concession stand while most of us true colts fans were playing. I dont live in or around indy, but I would love to. I would not have any problem paying the extra one percent. I bought the colts license plate for both of my vehicles and I am on the waiting list for season tickets. The Colts help put Indiana on the map and I am proud of that!

congrats. you know someone from a practice squad. after drafting 2 receivers (wouldnt be surprised if roy hall is starting in the slot before too long) and moorehead coming back, it doesnt look good for john boy to make the team.
thanks for being a jerk in your reply

This was an excellent post. I really tire of hearing non sports fans whine about getting taxed on the new stadium. A lot of complainers don't seem to know that it is just a food/hotel tax on Marion and surrounding counties. Who can't handle 1 cent on the dollar for money spent eating out? If you can't handle that "gigantic" expense, you should probably stay home and eat Ramen noodles.
I like hearing from people that blindly believe what they are told.

<quoted text>That's true. For those of you who don't understand, either because you can't read or just choose to ignore the facts: IT'S A ONE PERCENT RESTAURANT TAX. That means for every dollar you spend eating out, you pay one cent of tax for the stadium. If you spend a hundred dollars for your meal, the tax will cost you an extra dollar. I don't know about the rest of you but if I can afford to spend a hundred dollars on dinner, I really don't think one more dollar is going to hurt me. If it hurts you, maybe you need to stay home with a box of Kraft macaroni and cheese and a can of spam.
I don't see it in the near future, but what if the colts need to buy another superbowl? Won't they need more money then?

<quoted text>Gonzalez will be the slot receiver. That's why they drafted him. Hall will back up Reggie and might also back up Clark at T.E. if he makes the team. Personally, I would trade both for Ginn. He was the best wideout in the Big Ten and one of the best in the NCAA.
You're on crack. If you were force-fed big ten games in colorado like we were here, you would realize ginn was barely a top ten receiver and not even the best on his team. he was a great returner and was fast. that is about it. and gonzo may start at the slot, but it will be roy hall's by the end of the year. ya heard?

The sucessful people that I know pay no attention to colts, pacers etc. They picture that fat beer guy yelling at the TV, skipping the kids lunch money. I do too, but I also realize your right to exist.(no one has ever mentioned that each of us has 2 sections of our brain that either makes us sports fans or not, just above the temple. You have to be born a sports fan)

I am not sure I would question where people head's are when you are scientifically taking your sample of 'successful friends' to form your opinion. Two illustrations donít constitute a large enough base to validate a point.

Truth is all walks of like watch and like football. After all, you don't like football so you should go and put on your dress, drink your wine cooler, all while having your nails done and watching gymnastics, right?
