I wish the Vikes luck in whatever city they move to where they find suckers to pay their bills by building a stadium. No public funds for stadiums for gazillionaires!

they will get a stadium regardless of your shortsightedness. It warms me to the core to know that pinheads like you are so opposed to this and that you will be even more upset when it passes. Gazillionare? Don't be such a moron.

Good choice. I am confident that Frazer and Spielman are wise and have picked the players that will best fit the Vikings.

I am sure that they have spent more time than I have (and you other oracles as well) researching the college players.

Go Vikings and blessings to Frazer.

Let's hope he brings his "A" game to the Vikings like another Iowa guy named Chad Greenway did (and does)!! Go Chad! Go Christian! Go Vikes!!:-)

You have to have a husker on your team if you plan on winning the super bowl. No husker, not super bowl.

It's too bad the Pats snafooed OT Canon right before us, now were left with another character concern. Can the Vikes ever go one draft without drafting a player with red flags?

With the reach for a third-round level (second-round placement due to the inflated value of the position)QB, the Vikings have effectively sealed their fate and will be the second worst team in the NFC next year after Carolina. Look forward to a year from now when they have a top five pick, we shall see if they screw that one up also. To all of you stubborn-minded, head-nodding diehards, the weekly beatdowns that the Vikes are about to endure will serve you perfectly, too bad you will only be able to watch some of the games since home games being blacked out are imminent. This draft has made the Vikings look like naive children at the adults' table.

Absolutely no taxpayer money to fund a stadium for this kind of incompetence. Take your raw deal out west.

Ballard is soft. His team couldn't even beat the loser Goophers last year. Watch Ballard on film and see what a quitter he was that day.

'Ballard was considered by some to be a second-round talent but slipped after reportedly testing positive for marijuana at the NFL combine.'

'players with character questions. The team took wide receiver Percy Harvin, who tested positive for marijuana at the combine, in the first round of the 2009 draft and defensive end Everson Griffen, who faced concerns about his work ethic and legal issues, in the fourth round of last year's draft.'

O yeah. he'll fit right in with THIS team. Love boat, here we come...

Do you realize that every Viking player pays more income tax to Minnesota than you do ? Do you realize that every sport pro who comes to play a game here in Minnesota for any sport pays more to Minnesota than you do ? Do you even understand what makes an economic system work ? The more you have working the more tax collected, the more they get paid the more taxes they should be paying. If you work than you should not be poor. People work, they earn, they spend and that is what makes the money go around. Not just a few having 95% of the wealth owning factories elsewhere in the world. We need the jobs here. Did you see that our good Gov and about time we have a good man in that office, Mark Dayton said the Vikes pay for 50% of the new play ground ? Do you even read and UNDERSTAND what is written ?

Now as for Ballard, is he any relation to the SPPD Ballard ?

If Ballard's uncle is THE Hank Ballard, he's the guy who wrote "The Twist." That gives the Twin Cities two nephews of rock royalty.

Glad to see we've drafted better than the rest of the NFC North. I envision this team getting to at least the NFC Championship, and the year after winning the Super Bowl. I still can't believe we treated Favre the way we have, we should have waited till at least August before deciding who our quarterback will be now it dosen't seem Favre will be back, with the talent on this team with Favre we would be Super Bowl bound.
