I will take the score, but these mental errors in the Defensive backfield are worrysome. Too many coverage breakdowns for me to be happy about this Defense. Too many times we are losing contain on the edge by 1 player trying to make THE Play instead of doing their job.

Seriously though, of course Wilf wants a new stadium and of course he knows the best way to go about this is to win. But isn't that also the point of NFL teams is trying to win. It's not really a conspiracy theory if everybody knows, is it?

Great on the not breaking; way too much bending. Skol Vikings.

I'm starting to see a lot of attempted bump tackles or arm tackles instead of wrapping of the player and bringing him down. Wrap him up, and he won't get the extra yards!!

Favre and the taxpayers don't appear aware of what's really going on out there. Then again, maybe Favre does realize he's being pimped by Wilff,
A truer word has never been written. With the country in turmoil and almost bankrupt do you really think the taxpayers will foot a bill for a stadium. I think food on the table is more important. The education of their children is more important. Don't be so gulible Wilf wants the stadium not for Minnesota but for himself.

Bend but not break, huh? Well, they'd better stop bending so much, because not every team they play is going to give the game away the way the Rams did yesterday. The next three games should tell the tale. I don't expect us to win in Pittsburgh, but if our 'D' doesn't stiffen against Ray Rice and Willis McGahee next week, there's no way we beat the Ravens. The Ravens have their backs to the wall.

Before we start printing Super Bowl tickets, let's all take a deep breather and evaluate the teams the Vikings played against: the Cleveland Browns who don't know the meaning of the words end zone, goal, score, or touchdown (The Browns defeated the Bills which is like saying the Raiders defeated the Chiefs); the Detroit Lions, who went 0-16 last year, and have 1 victory this year over another team, the Washington Redskins, who also do not know the meaning of the words end zone, goal, score, touchdown--a team so bad that the Skins did the unthinkable, stopped the Lions losing streak and helped the Carolina Panthers pick win number 1 of the season even though the Panthers were allowing 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions per game; the San Francisco 49ers who apparently are more mirage than reality because the Falcons ripped right through them 45-10 while the Purple needed a heroic Favre play at the end of regulation to pull out a stunning w; the Green Bay Packers who have looked like the 6-10 team they were last year; and finally, the St Louis Rams, who have a seriously legitimate shot to finish 0-16 this year. The Rams had been shut out twice and scored 7 points in 3 of 5 games this season. The Purple beat teams that they should have beaten. The best teams in the league right now are, in this order, 1) The New York Giants, 2) The New Orleans Saints, 3) The Denver Broncos, 4) The Indianapolis Colts, 5) the Minnesota Vikings, and 6) The Philadelphia Eagles alongside the Cincinnati Bengals.

we're giving up too many yards on the ground. I don't like it.

We haven't played them.

Giving up that many yards to the packers and the Rams is a VERY BIG concern!! The defense must change its ways and NOT bend and NOT break either. The pass defense is still very porous and the run defense has some pretty big cracks. There's plenty of talent so why is this happening?

The D is giving up too many yards/scoring opportunities. So what're the problems? the coaches' scheme? poor execution? lack of talent?
