Not sure if I would want Chilly to testify if I was them if it's anything like his press conferences. A lot of uhhh's, in between he'll follow with something along the lines of character, and throw in a couple words with no relevance to anything...all very painfull to watch.

not too mention he'll probably have to hold him in contempt of court for having too many witnesses on the witness stand.

Are we forgetting the NFL found out about a banned substance and never reported that it was in Starcaps?

That alone should void this whole joke. The NFL is pathetic.

Pat and Kevin Williams GOT CAUGHT and they don't think that they should have to take responsibility for WHAT they put into their bodies and serve the suspension they received. No wonder why I can't stand the Vikings! They've got an IDIOT for a head coach along with players who think that the rules or laws DON'T apply to them!

You've got that backwards...Pat and Kevin Williams want the correct rules to apply to them...that's why they took the NFL to court. Like it or not, that's kind of what the court systems are for.'WHAT' they 'GOT CAUGHT' putting into their bodies was a DIET PILL before they had to weigh in for training camp.

I heard both Williams had weight clauses in their contracts. They would earn bonuses if they met a certail weight. Another clause stated that they could not use weight loss products like the one they took.

I guess the way I see it i sthey took these pills to either...

1) Lose weight to make their bonus or...

2) To flush the steroids out of their system.

Either way they cheated.

The "rules" that need to apply are, you are responsible for putting a Diet Pill in your body. The NFL has an APPROVED list of substances, why would you put something in your body that is not on that list? Also, don't forget, the only reason they would be suspended for 4 games, is that they have ALREADY tested positive for a banned substance proviously, hence they are in the substance program. First positive test, your get put in the program, 2nd positive your suspended. So, they know they are in the program, having already tested positive once, and then they decide they can take a DIET PILL (that has been regarded as a maskign agent) not on the "approved" list by the NFL and when they get caught, they say it's not thier fault, the pill is legal????? C'mon.

Diet pills are not banned in the NFL...bumetanide is. The program teaches them substances which they can't take. The Williams', as well as all consumers, should be able to trust what's listed on the label for any type drug. If an over-the-counter drug doesn't list a banned substance by the NFL, why shouldn't they be able to trust it like the rest of us do.

How would you feel if you were on pain meds and were fired from your job because you failed a drug test for taking opiates, which wasn't listed on the label?

I understand the NFL followed procedure because they did take a banned substance but there's another issue involved.
