WELCOME TO MINNESOTA CHRISTIAN PONDER. I wanted gabbert but this is good enough. The only problem with this pick was that it was a reach. But i'm 100% dedicated to christian ponder. I didn't expect him in the first round but at least we got him. GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!

The Vikes were desperately trying to trade down. No takers. They grabbed Ponder in order to have a pick and not slip down a few spots Mike Tice style. All the commentators were whining about Ponder's weak arm. Hope it works out for the Purple. Skol Vikings.

If Locker was available i'm sure it would have been him. Ponders "weak arm" shouldn't be an issue since he will mostly be required to hand off to AD and dump passes to Harvin and maybe Rice should he decide to stay. Ponder is smart, accurate and did school all the other QB's in the senior bowl. He's worth a shot. Now move Webb to WR to give Ponder more options.

I say that because you can't have someone with Webb's talent ride the bench. That's a chilly move.

Now let's trade Mckinnie and get some more picks. Get rid of a lazy half breed and pick up talent that he never was. One less thug on the team would be great and than find someone to protect Ponders blind side.
