Tom Brady: He has thrown 34 touchdowns against four picks. Let that sink in for a little bit. And the Patriots traded Randy Moss and don't have a top-flight running back on the roster. Brady, already an all-time great, is having a sensational season with his pinpoint accuracy. Tom Brady hasn't thrown an interception since Week 6! Brady's put together a whopping eight straight games where he's thrown two or more touchdowns and zero picks. Oh by the way, he is also carrying the team with the best record in pro football.

But, but he didn't fight, kill, and torture dogs and then rise back up from the bottom of the cess pool. And he hasn't found Jeebus "again" like Mikey.

Doesn't that count for something?

I think you're being facetious... but a good post in any case. I think Vick's plight counts for rising from the bottom of the cesspool - and that really is something.

Yeah, it was Manning and the black quarterback from Tennessee - forget his name. Vick has made a huge splash in his comeback but last night hurt him and Brady's been outta this world. The defenses will adjust to him next year and we'll see if he can maintain his dominance. But even if Vick doesn't improve he'll still be great. The only danger to him and his style of football is injury.

If it comes down to the win/loss record, points scored and interceptions thrown........ it's Tom Brady hands down. Ya know, he made a physical comeback when a lot of the talking heads said would not happen. That was never considered as an MVP value. So why should Vick's comeback from the criminal world be considered? I do like his skills on the football field, and THAT is what we should be looking at.

Vick has had a magical season, hats off to him. He's an amazing talent to watch. However, in terms of "MVP" this season, Brady wins hands down...

Brady has thrown 13 more TD's than Vick, two fewer INT's & nearly 700 more yds.

Brady’s 34 passes and four int's make for a remarkably rare combination of throwing for scores without being picked off, and help explain his rise up the career QB ratings rankings.

Vick has a huge lead in rushing, with 676 yds & nine touchdowns to Brady’s 30 yards and single score (unusually low totals for a qb with so much playing time, and low even for Brady).

But, Vick also has fumbled the ball 11 times, compared to just 3 for Brady. And Vick has been about 70% more likely to be sacked on any given dropback, which is another liability, besides fumbles, that stems from his mobility.

By more advanced stats, Brady’s lead over Vick widens. Football Outsiders evaluate QBs by the value they provide compared to an average quarterback in a given passing situation.

The more valuable a QB has provided, the more Defense-adjusted Yards Above Replacement (DYAR) he’ll have provided. Brady has 1,971 this year, first in the NFL by a wide margin over No. 2 Philip Rivers. Vick ranks 12th, with 797. Vick does rank first among QBs in rushing DYAR, but his total there still leaves him with fewer than half of Brady’s total this season.

Tom Brady, YOUR MVP.

Its hard for Defenses to keep Vick on a LEASH as elusive as he is. Week after week, he CHEWS through the competition, as if he has a BONE to pick with the haters. Teams are PETrified anticipating the POUNDing they will recieve from Vick and his Eagles.

As Haters on Topix continue to gripe, Vick continues to GROWL and TEAR up that opponent TAIL with his bare PAWS.

Yet, even though Vicks Performances may leave many FOAMING at the mouth, there is no stopping the ANIMAL that is Tom Brady and the NEW ENGLAND Patriots!

to be honest, Brady has mopped up the top defenses in the NFL. Vick plays in a weak division. I have it: Brady, and about 5 other AFC players. Vick isn't in the picture except the 'bogus' fan/black voting pro bowl that no one watches.

Actually, Brady deserves it for the regular season, but Manning or Brees, may deserve it, in the end....lol....

Leah, Please tell me you were'nt one of those picketing women with a shirt that read: "Hide your beagle, Vick's an Eagle!"...LOL

Leah, why do you think they call them "man's best friend"?

They forgive us, we forgive them, no?

We could learn plenty from those fury little rascals...

Anyway, I much prefer the safe-family-friendly dogs..Like this one:
