Management should talk to him then hand him a pink slip. He's finished and besides him a couple over the hill Eagles should get slips.

Uhhh, no. Its called a contract. He is contracted to make that next year. If the Eagles dump him, he doesn't make that from the Eagles.

It's annoying how some fans are such idiots. McNabb's brought nothing to this town??? You gotta be kidding me. He and Reid resurrected this team when they showed up. They've spoiled Eagles fans and others with 5 playoff appearances in 7 years since 2000, and when they don't hit the playoffs for a 2nd straight year this year, all the sudden their wasted? Oh geez. It is NOT solely on McNabb. Yeah, there are things that need to be done this off season, which I believe are becoming a more balanced offense, better situational play calling, bringing in a big physical RB to compliment Westbrook, making use of their high round picks, and bringing in a prime receiver to help Donovan. He and Westbrook have carried this team throughout this decade...gotta get them more help

Sorry Eagles Fan. I can support Andy Reid because he turned a 3-13 team into a playoff contender year after year. However, McNabb hasn't gotten this talented team to the playoffs in 4 years. He either doesn't play well enough or he gets hurt every season right around this time of year. McNabb's performance and entire attitude surrounding the Bengals game was completely unacceptable. He is aloof and has no leadership ability - he needs to go. If he showed the intensity he had in his earlier years, the Eagles would be better than 6-5-1.

McNabb is 7-5 in the playoffs. Led the Eagles to one SB, four NFC Championship games, and multiple division titles. Philly fans are supposed to be losers, but when has D.C. last won a title in any sport this century. The only parade DC has is going to have is for the next president. Enjoy the Nats, Caps, Skins, and Wizards as they maintain that low standard they have set over the last ten years.

Wasn't McNabb the QB that help turn that team around? I agree that the Eagles are talented in the secondary and DEs and with Westbrook, but their WR and TEs are some of the worst in the league. Do you think L.J., Lewis, Brown and the other bums outside of Jackson would even sniff the playing field on any other team. Even Curtis looks weak this year. Give McNabb a legitimate number 1 receiver like when T.O. was here and then if he can't get it done I will agree with you, but until that time it is not fair to put the blame solely on his shoulders.

A small number (2) of McNabb's parts seem to work OK.

Too bad they can't help his football career.

The rest of him is obsolete
