New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees comes up on cold night

Full story: Chicago Tribune

By the time the Saints retreated to the warmth of their locker room at Soldier Field late Thursday night, the playoffs seemed as difficult to imagine as a balmy summer day.

Sorry, Dan. You're butt kissing on Brees and the Saints (along with most of the rest of the national media) is getting old. Been hearing for 2 years now how good the Saints are, but gee, they just have bad luck, injuries, can't win in the cold. They won't get better. They were the beneficiary of a last place schedule in 2006, barely won the first playoff game at home and got hammered here in Chicago. Can we call Reggie Bush a bust yet?#2 pick in the draft, often injured, not a full-time back. Shows seldom flashes, but is basically a third down back that doesn't like to get hit.

To win in this league you have to have some sort of a secondary....we don't..Time to focus on my boy Chris Paul and the Hornets.....PEACE!!!

EEKS is clueless about the Saints as a team. And, GEE, I wonder why they do all that butt-kissing-oh that's right Brees is the #1 QB in the league in many categories-THREE YEARS RUNNING! And the Saints were the beneficiary of the last place schedule in 2006, since you've forgotten or conveniently omitted the fact, is because they were the year-long traveling team because of Hurricane Katrina.
Watch some football some time EEKS, maybe you'll learn a thing or two.
