When Wolfe first got to Chicago, it seemed like he would be able to make big plays on draws, screens and tosses, but the Bears, for some inexplicable reason, kept plowing him up the middle as fans watched his little sass get popped like corn.
Now, in year three, they decide to use him on the perimeter and in space. Let us pray: May the football Gods bless this team so that we may win without the aid of competent coaching from the head man and his offensive and defensive coordinators...Ron Turner and Lovie Smith. Amen. |

We'll see! The lil' guy was a MONSTER on special teams last season, I couldn't believe how well he made the tackles! I was a fan of (our) Adrian Peterson as a running back receiver, but it looks like he won't get much time in that role. Too bad, he led the Bears in receptions season before last (for a while anyway). He's another special teams standout. Whatever, let's go! Wish preseason was shorter! GO BEARS! |

Second comments by E B F. A guy like Wolfe should be used like Darren Sproles is. For guys with this size, their skills are best suited for outside the tackles. Get Wolfe out in space and let him make guys miss; don't pummel him up the middle for crying out loud. Between him and Hester, you have a tremendous opportunity in Wildcat formation. Go Bears!

Turner says he is going to get Wolfe more involved. Thats on top of a potential big come back year he claims for KJ? I'll believe it when I see it Ron. I do think it will be tough to carry both Wolfe and AP. Even though they are both solid Special Teams players, the Bears may fare well to go with one more receiver instead.

Glad to see Wolfe still on the team. Him and AP will be our top special teams players with AP probably doing strictly special teams this year. Wolfe has that home run outside running ability and for whatever reason hasn't been used. This year he will be a dangerous weapon for Cutler to check down to and toss screens to. Forte will still be the man he just won't see so many touches.

AP isn't going to make the team. Wolfe will be the third RB and he's a special teams standout now too. Can't carry 4 RB. Thanks for your contributions AP, hope you catch on somewhere!

I was always hoping that the Bears could pull off a RB game similar to that of the Giants, where there were three threats coming out of the backfield, but that never happened. It will be interesting to see what KJ and Wolfe brings to the team this year.

Played ball in high school with this kid and I have been waiting for him to get more touches. Do us some good Wolfe!!

the only way he'll get some touches is if he gives Lovie a Lewinsky!
Go Lions! |

Always liked Garrett, hope is more integral this season...Turner, keep your word.

I like Garret Wolfe and really hope he can make a contribution to the Bears' success in the future, but for now he is a monument of the draft day stupidity of Jerry Angelo, who spent a three on him (or maybe it was a four) when he could easily have been had at least two rounds later, if in fact he would have been drafted at all.

I'll give Wolfe more touches, I'll even stick a ball in there on a fake. But once he leaves my bedroom its back to doing nothing on the sidelines for him
