Hey a loss is a loss. All I'm saying is that the steelers didn't expect to go undefeated and losing to last years champs isn't a bad thing...now losing to the browns would be bad. lol.
And that could happen HAHAHAHAHAHA The last game of the year... Could be huge for both teams! time will tell - GO BROWNS!

The Giants won because they stuck with the run, even though it wasn't working, while the Steelers went all pass, which results in sacks and interceptions.
ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!!! What game were you watching? The Giants won because they ran underneath pass routes across the middle and in the flat, taking advantage of the Steelers penchant for rushing hard and playing deep. Those pass plays were their bread and butter.
The Steelers meanwhile had one good run- 32 yds, and it went to there head as they kept running too much when it was obvious they could not be consistant. The passing was to little to late after they fell behind.

Too bad the browns didnt continue with the awesome Offense they showed against the Giants. It's like a Jeckle and Hyde Offense, could change at any moment. Just so our fat guy stays healthy, the D is much improved! I noticed one of your fat guys Sunday... didn't catch his number but he was huge too! I gotta say those throw back uniforms for the Steelers should have been thrown away - no wonder they didn't play well last Sunday hahahaha ( the Jets wern't much better)

you must have been looking at Casey "big snack" Hampton. he's not tall but he's really wide. I think he around 350lbs at 6' or 5'11". We've also got some backup fatguys that tip the 320+ on the D line. Our O-line also has some heavy weights. It's a good thing too.

I'm tired of the throwback uniforms. what's the deal with that anyway? maybe some weird marketing gimmick.

"Should have won the game" my god what were you watching giants put a major hurt on a good steeler (5) sacks, 4 Int's steeler lucky giants didn't beat them by 30 points....

That's exactly what it is. It's a means of selling more jerseys to fans. It's like that in football, baseball, and hockey. Money, money, money!

The Giants are too predictable. Manning should have seen how the Steeler defense was stacked towards the run up the midde. Why not try faking a handoff and run and end around play. Try something different for once.
Why? The "predictable" Giants as you say, are 6-1 and lead the National Conference, the only team with a better record is Tennessee who leads the American Conference. No need for the giants to do anything but continue to play good defence and misstake free ball control offence. Hope they continue to be as predictable on the march to a second straight Super Bowl Win...

I don't think either side got lucky. the giants won fair and square. They didn't win by 30 because the steelers D is really tough in the red zone and held them to field goals except once. Hat's off to the giants defensive coordinator he kept the pressure up until the final whistle.

Good post, As you say and I agree the steeler defense inside the redzone played tough. Reference to 30 points(lucky) was the (5 sacks and 4ints) would think that would lead to 30 points..No slight intended these teams could face each other one more time in the SB.....

The Browns are coming on. they are nobodys patsies. They are getting better everyweek, and the Steelers are fading.

They lose one game to the SB champs, a nail biter at that, and their fading. Do you mean fading as in 11-5 instead of 13-3? I guess your right.

I was also surprised that the score wasn't more lopsided with all the f-ing turnovers.

Agree about a SB preview. Of course a few injuries can end that right away but it is possible. The season is almost at the halfway point and it looks to be narrowing to a few teams that have the firepower. It's tough to repeat but totally possible for the gmen. the steelers need to protect ben or he won't last another 9 games.
