In practice a lot of guys look like good football players but aren't during game time. Just look at Rosivelt Colvin after he was released by the Patriots he worked out for the Colts and Dungy was impressed by his football skills then he ended up signing with the Texans and was cut in training camp and couldn't get on with another team till the season was almost over. So just because a coach says someone is still a good football player doesn't mean they are.
