You missed an additional element of irony. Bears OC Ron Turner switched Kelvin Hayden from wide receiver to defensive back during his last year at Illinois.

It was Hayden's home town but lots of people in the Indy area were Bears fans until the Colts came to town. For a lot of us, it was hard to hate "da Bears". Sure glad the Colts won though.

I watched my 65 yr old mom watch one of her first football games. When Hayden intercepted and ran like crazy, I could not believe her screaming at the TV. Then, with the challenge and the replays -- she was calling it like a pro. Glad to see a guy who obviously works hard get some glory!!! Exciting game and looking for the jersey for my mom.

Congratulations to a great team on a great victory. We ex-Hoosiers were cheering you loud and long in San Francisco along with other Indianapolis transplants!

AND THAT'S WHY HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUPER BOWL MVP. I MEAN COME ON 90% OF THE TIME THAT TEAM NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE WILL WIN THE GAME.

PEOPLE ALL OVER INDIANA LIKE THE BEARS, BECAUSE WHEN THE COLTS WERE IN BALTIMORE THE BEARS WERE THE PRITTY MUCH THE ONLY TEAM BROADCAST IN THE STATE.
