My definition of a stud qb is a little different than your pro bowl label. I do agree that he doesn't utilize t-jack correctly, but it was a lot better last year. we just need consistency at the posistion. I think one of our qbs can offer that next year and if they can the vikings will be a hard team to beat.
Free agents go were the money is, plain and simple. We have addressed special teams which was our biggest weakness last year. We still have plenty of free agency and the draft left to address more needs.
ok i will agree with you on that but, unfortunately there is a lack of stud qbs in the nfl period and those two are in the top ten. Give me ten current qbs that are better (not in any order) P. Manning, T Brady, K Warner, D McNabb, D Brees, P rivers, and after that you are streching it Romo and Cutler (no playoff wins) and that with Ben and Eli are ten top qbs. Oh and put Hasselbeck in there he is better than Romo and Cutler.

Yea,the signing is great but is there any other activity going on here?I am getting the feeling that the Vikes are going with what they have. Not feeling too good about this.I hope that there is more before or on draft day.

Agreed, Although I say only P. Manning, Brady, Brees, Palmer, and Favre are elite qbs (Currently in the league well Favre is retired but you know what i mean). Ben is close, but i wonder how he would do if he played for a mediocre team. I do like Hasselbeck and Bulger as well. Cutler is emerging. I cant include Romo as an nfl qb, and McNabb pukes in big games.

i agree the only good things of this lack of free agency that there is still some talent out there at qb there is jeff garcia, at corners there is Mcalister and s. rolle, ot with Pace and wr Holt. Anyone of those guys would help. But i am with you in your pain, the resigning of griffith means he is probably our no 2 guy not our nickel guy. Childress has a man crush on tjack, and holt and pace are probably going to hold out for "contenders" and be scared away from the tjack project like TJ Whosyourmama.
