The Vikings continue to throw money at every position except QB. When will Zygi realize that no matter how much money he spends, he will never win a championship without a freakin' quarterback!

you may as well save yourself NOW....I agree and feel your frustration but it is very apparant the Queens 'braintrust" thinks they are good at the QB position....but, you never know come draft day if they might make a trade..I am thinking the Queens will shop Chester around so you never know...but, as I said earlier, I feel your pain.....

it really does amaze me how everybody thinks you need to have a pro bowl quarterback to win.

Atlanta, Miami, and Baltimore's coaching changes didn't do them any good either. Hope you enjoy another season of Daryl Bevell's playcalling, hurry-up offense and predictable personel packages.

Predictable response - some joker ALWAYS brings up the worthless point that Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson have Super Bowl rings... big deal. The list of stud qbs that have won the big game is FAR more telling than a couple aberrations. My argument is that qb is likely the single-most important position in relation to team success in any sport (and qb's are, in general, paid accordingly). Clueless has too big an ego to share the spotlight (unless it's his worthless pet project T-Joke) and Wilf has sadly failed to realize that he has hitched his wagon to an incompetent loser of a head coach.

Um Griffin is not worthy of this amount of money. He did show upside in the last weeks of the season but not enough to warrant such a contract. By upside I mean he actually was near his guy in coverage and was attacking the ball instead of making a tackle. Wow you people need to ease off Jackson, he showed he could make it in the NFL at the end of the season, the playoff game wasn't so great but the wide outs were blanketed and o-line didn't block anyone. He can be that great quarterback that can take the Viking's to the superbowl, but with Childress in charge it's never going to happen.

Not bad for a CB that gets burnt sometimes but, he is an improvement over some of the CB'S we have had over the years.

Big Ben, Eli Manning just to name the two previous super bowl winners. And if you think they are "stud" qbs well your not a football fan.
The one bad thing Childress brought with him was Philly like fans. And they post their don't have a clue that the vikings are a running team all over the comments.
