I agree to a point with Rick. It is def. time for a new running back and some new linebackers. The Second string linebacking crew just plain flat sucks. When freeny and mathis were both in there it was great, take them both out and they could not stop anything. I say trade adai for a first and second round pick. Then use the draft for nothing but defense. Then possibly get the edge back from Arizona for a year, then draft a running back.

what exactly is "defensive holding"? contrary to the officials' popular belief, the chargers O-line did not play what would be deemed an error free game. officials flat out carry too much influence over the outcome of a contest. how the hell else do you explain the visiting team (far more experienced and riding a 9-game win streak behind a 3-time MVP) racking up nearly twice as many penalties for twice as many yards? sure, they (the officials) "threw us a bone" every once in a while, but nothing like the breaks the bolts got.

and how does a team like san diego who came into the playoffs @.500 ranking near dead last against the pass contain wayne, clark, harrison and "gonzo"? i think manning may have been sacked once so, its not like our youthful inexperienced line didn't do a pretty good job with its replacements in protection. why didn't dominic rhodes see more time? how is it we couldn't zero in on the one man all-purpose yardage "midget" well enough to square up one good lick on him?

Yeah, This loss sucks, especially after the great improvement the team made after that rocky start-of-season. I'm just praying that this play-off loss isn't followed by our loss of Tony Dungy ! That would truly be a tragedy ,for the franchise, the city, and especially US fans.
I'm still very proud of the Colts, and know they'll be Back.

the bottom line is we should not have been in an OT situation with that a team that is far beneath us in talent... yeah i said it. Furthermore, the officiating all year has been horrible. I mean the league takes all the fun out of celebrations and focuses time and money on the players and their behavior as they should but the officiating needs to be closely examined and not just apologized for.

Unfortunately with the number of injuries the Colts dealt with this year, they never were much better than a .500 team, they just happened to play sub .500 teams. This loss shouldn't really surprise any one. That being said, great season considering all the obstacles.

If the Colts ever want to go anywhere again they need to lose the old man Harrison. They also need to install some sort of a run game. Addia just doesn't seem to get it done.

Face it Colts fans, The Chargers outplayed the Colts in every aspect of the game. They ran the ball, punter had a career game, and Rivers made key throws on 3rd down. The game was not really that close. Had the Chargers not turned the ball over twice in the red zone and the refs helped us with the kickoff fumble the score could have easily been 31-17. The inability of the Colts to run the ball all season doomed it from the start.

From a fan --the loss is always blamed on some one else other than bad plays, or just that the other team has executed better plays. Always blamed on the officials ===get real. Appears that the team should play better the first 3 quarters instead of thinking Manning can pull through in the 4th. m

As much as I respect Tony Dungy, it's time for a change. All we had to do is get a first down when it was third and two and we would have won the game. We didn't. Sure, the officiating was bad but, third and two! If your going to run it on third and two, why not put Davenport in. Adai hasn't done anything all year and we would not have made it this far without Rhodes. I think we should be looking to trade Adai and let Marvin go and pick up Haynesworth in FA. Die hard fan since 1970 and always will be!

Sure we can put our colts losing to the bolts on the referees, However We are a professional football team, with the best offense in the league.3 time MVP Payton Manning should have been reading the referees play book, like he does when he does everthing else on the field. PS. Send Adai packing with all 200 yards give or take for the year. Colts Fan 4ever.
