As much as I would love to see Gregg play, we shouldn't be worried because Bannan has done a fine job stopping the run with ngata and pryce on the line so far.

This is typical Ravens training staff rsponse to an injury. We report it as not being serious, then at the last minute rule a guy out for a game, then he misses 3 more games and we finally admit that the injury might be serious.

Gregg's career is over. Thanks for your tremendous effort Kelly!

This article is a good start, but I'm still curious about some of our other players that took some lumps in the Pitt game.
McGahee..what's the extent of his injury or whas he just out of shape? McClain..best fullback in the NFL right now and he came up gimpy after a couple of plays. What's his status? Rolle...will he be back on D this week? |
Put him on IR and promote someone from the practice squad.

Chalk up another L. Gregg is badly needed in there.

Get better Buddy Lee. We need you, dude ?

yeah the ravens are giving up a lot yards on the ground.......man what will the ravens do? They really do suck against the run. YOUR AN IDIOT! |

Looks like Gregg is done for good, oh sh**.

More predictions from the gal who said we'd lose our 1st 2 games and then claimed we'd get "rolled by the Steelers". I think you'd be better served keeping your opinions/predictions to yourself b/c your two cents have been wrong time and time again. And your two cents was only worth two cents even before this horrible ecomony. Pryce and Ngata are still there, and Bannan has been a satisfactory backup. The Ravens will survive just fine on D. The O is what needs to be worried. Every team, including the Titans, just saw that Flacco looks to Mason 90% of the time. If the Titans gameplan wisely they'll move a safety over to help the CB that's covering Mason. Double covering him may stiffle our passing game, and right now it looks like our 3-headed rushing attack has been reduced to McClain only. Why, w/ McGahee hurting, they're not giving Rice more touches is beyond me. |
Well they didn't say anything about McGahee so I assume he is going to be alright for the game, along with McClain, hopefully at least one of those guys can play. As for Gregg, it doesn't sound good I hope he comes back but this sounds like he is gonna be out for the year.

Why and how is Samari Rolle still on the Ravens?
Who is his agent because maybe he needs to have some sort of political position because he is selling the Ravens some good crap. Next year Mcgayhe and Rolle has got to go they soft like cotton balls.... |
Rolle is china ware and is getting very close to Mr.Glass(Todd Heap)in missing endless amount of games. Not only that, but he's well past his prime and only an average defender. His absence is irrelevant. McGahee supposively has injured ribs so I wouldn't count on him being in there either this week. I haven't heard anything definitive on McClain. And I agree that Bannan has done a great job for Gregg and it hasn't even remotely effected the stifling run defense of this team.
Now there getting a second opinion on Gregg. way to be proactive!
Rolle over the hill....I told ya I told ya I told ya...He and Mcalister were 2 all time greats.... and still have alot of talent....but age, speed and most of all durability have become a major issue as you expect at their age at that speed oriented position.... and it reared its ugly head this week for the first time this season....as I said Ryan will not have the luxury of bracketing and protecting them against the good passing teams with healthy passing attacks....even with the Ravens ferocious pass rush the corner position remains a major liability....the only liability on an otherwise perfect defense.and it only takes a small whole to sink a beautifull boat....but hey you got your quarterback. |

Sally Rolle needs to take off the skirt or retire.

Ravens, what a joke.

Fort George G Meade, MD |
Rolle needs to retire or suck it up and get back on the field. I know our cap room limits our options but Lito Sheppard is dying to get out of Philly and Philly would trade them if the price is right. We could probably throw them a 3rd rd pick that escalates to a 2nd if we make the playoffs. Sheppard is worth it.
