the jets will not get cutler simply because of the patriot influence in denver.my guess the jets should sign kyle boller and draft a wide reciever,or sign holt.

"I could list the names for you, all 28 of them". Maybe you should have, it couldn't have hurt that boring article. Here's a little tidbit Wally.

You could have started with an anecdote such as "in Mike Tannenbaum's first draft as the Jets' GM, he made the decision to pass on Cutler with the 4th overall pick and opted on drafting Dbrickshaw Ferguson. Cutler was later drafted by Denver with the 11th pick. "

Maybe you thought that wasn't relevant? Perhaps you didn't even know that?

Perhaps our devil's advocate didn't know the Jets were extremely high on Cutler and had planned on trading up for him had he slid a few picks more.

But Tannenbaum's done a fine job, and as long as he doesn't draft Freeman, he'll continue to do so. The best way to solve that issue is by giving up that pick in a package for Cutler.

I'm a Giant's fan and if the Jet's don't trade for Cutler, they won't make playoffs for years to come!

Does anyone believe that the Jets have a quarterback on the roster who will be leading this team 4 years from now? In Jay Cutler we do...he could be our starter easily for the next 5-6 yrs. Don't get me wrong, I actually like Ratliff and even Ainge (Clemens hasn't done ANYTHING to distinguish himself). Would you rather start the season with Kellen Clemens under center or Jay Cutler? If you said Clemens, then you need either therapy, medication or Jesus! If we as Jet Fans really want to believe the we can win 10-12 games next season on defense alone...then we will get what we deserve a 6-10 season full of extreme disappointment! Ryan has to be realistic...it's not everyday that a young proven pro-bowl quarterback is available on the market. The JETS simply cannot let this opportunity pass us by. Mr. T has the chance to correct the mistake he and Mangini made 4yrs ago...he has a chance to get Jay Cutler, his addition alone will give us an additional 3-4 wins this year! Mr. T do the right thing...get the deal done!

Hey Dolphin Fan...

Does every Dolphin fan run their mouth like a Junior Joey Porter...or does fear of a team getting better drive you to give a d%$n about what other teams do? I ask this because I GUARANTEE YOU THIS...JETS FANS COULD CARLESS ABOUT WHAT THE DOLPHINS DO! We just don't care about the FISH...we could careless if you signed Steve Young, Steve Deburg and Steve Bono...to play TIGHT END. We just don't care! Why? Because we don't fear you...GO JETS!

Let me get this straight...the Dolphins go from worst to first with that wild cat bull%$&!, and you think that there what? The new powerhouse in the NFL or something? Your right though it took an EX-JET to make the dolpins better...and the JETS lost on the Brett Favre gamble also! Don't kid yourself though, because the same Ravens defensive coordinator, who in the playoffs made the Dolphins look like a JV side and Pennington look like the 2nd coming of Bobby Hebert is now running the show in NY. As for the cap...Mr. T will work his magic, he always does! He hasn't always been the greatest talent evaluater but the man can spin money with the best of them!

What patriot influence??? Ex patriot coach's can't stand Bill Belichick.Parcells use to tell Belichick to keep his mouth shut in coachs meetings. If ex N.E.coachs were loyal to anyone it was S.Pioli, and he's gone.

The only reason the Dolphins made the playoffs was their cupcake schedule. we will see next season how they do with a tougher schedule and "noodle arm".

they should have drafted him in the first place instead of ferguson. I don't even want to hear the dolphins in this discussion. It's irrelevant so stop. I do think Clemens can get it done with this O line.
