It's a shame JT won't be in there to plant Brady. That said, I hope Moses brings it!

I read a couple of weeks ago that the number of Dolphin injuries were consistant with other teams.

I don't have the facts and figures but I just can't believe it.

Maybe the good reverend, brother Parcells can heal us.

Why do I get the feeling we might win this week (ie...1985 Bears). Everytime we lose to the crappy teams and come up big in the improbable games. Watch out New England, we had your number last year, and we are going to come strong this year!!!

the only times we have beaten the pats was at home in december, never at NE. the pats shouldn't take us lightly though even though they killed us last time they played us. ANY GIVEN SUNDAY.

ahhhh, finally an article about whats going on now. I am sure JTs gonna give it a go against the Patsies, they just dont want to make his sore foot or ankle worse in practice. all this talk about parcells can wait, we still have to whoop the patsies, & the bengals! maybe this will get the team fired up, or maybe its gonna be a major distraction? we can talk personnel moves at 4:15 two sundays from now... LETS GO PHINS!!!

Dolphins won't beat the Pats, but should be closer than the official spread.

funny you should say that. the forecast for the boston area on sunday is, 60% chance of heavy rain after noon with a high of 49. towards evening the rain chance goes up to 80%. dont expect snow, its not gonna get nowhere near cold enough by the end of the game. looks like the weather is going to cooperate with us this time. 49 aint cold at all, plus we have had plenty of experience in the rain & mud this season. the perfect storm is certainly brewing, and its gonna blow right in the Patsies face! LETS GO PHINS!!!

There might be a slight difference between the current injured, 1-13 Dolphins and the '85 squad, who were defending AFC Champions and on their way to another AFC Championship game...

It may have been one of my posts you're referring too.

I researched it and found that the numbers of players the fins have on IR/out for the season/pup is not even leading the league this year, and that these number are reached almost every year by some team or the other.

The other thing I pointed out though, was that these injuries happen to be very concentrated in a few positions, so the toll it's taken on our depth chart is felt way worse then those other teams who've had the same numbers of IR players.

I think it was in reponse to your question about was it bad luck or something else.

Hope this helps.

Here's a link for current NFL injuries:

Does anyone know why Patrick Cobbs did not play rb when all the other backs went down? I thought he had a great preseason and has to be better than Gado.

Maybe he's too small and pre-season is pre-season after all. I think Gado has done well with his opportunity.
